As R.Feynman said: "the sole test of the validity of any idea is experiment". In light of the preparation of new tests, I would like to propose an experiment design . To evaporate 11L water 1L LPG is needed (7 KWh). So if ECat fits into a volume of 1 L and vaporizes 11L of water (brought to 100°C earlier), it will exceed the energy density of chemical fuel. Such test will be difficult to fake.

This is one of Rossi's most stupid demonstrations in years! It is not convincing at all. For it to be convincing the vehicle must be running for days to exhaust any possibility of a conventional power source weighing the same as the 93 kg e-cat box! It is not difficult to demonstrate it properly. Why the F... does Rossi not do it right! We have this same discussion every single time he does some demonstration!

@@gavinomamia I hope you are right. However, if Rossi's purpose with the demonstration is to attract investors so he can start production, then surely he could do a much better job!

I have been following this "tale" for more than 10 years and I have to say that I cannot believe this man anymore. It doesn't really matter what he does, he always leave doubts behind him. It seems that he wants to take all of his "secrecies" (if any) to the grave. If he has something, he should just release it and get all of the credit and atention he may deserve. It doesn't look real and I hope I am wrong with that.

@@gavinomamia This implies trusting the readings, but lets say they are truthful - an innovation in battery technology is not necessarily a demonstration of effective ZPE extraction. It would be impressive nontheless

The orginal battery 100kg 70km... The new car made 200km with 180kg battery+ecat. So in any case he invented a better battery. I'm sad because he did only 200km. Imagine 400km what do you think with only 80kg plus?😂 Something he did. We don't know what and how.

@@gavinomamia The Twizy battery pack is of old technology (>10 yrs). Current li-ion battery packs have more than 300 Wh/Kg of density. An 80 Kg pack has a capacity of 24 KWh. To drive for 200 Km and charge the battery, about 20KWh are needed. Well within a modern li-ion pack. In the press conference was said tha even Marzocchi didn't watched inside the steel box. Rossi said that the steel box was for safety, but when inquired on the accident, he said that the battery exploded, not the E-cat. So why protect the e-cat with a steel box? Finally at the end of the press conference a journalist was asking of energy density. Rossi talked with some off camera guy and the press conference abruptly ended. So i am not convinced. And i follow him since 2011... He should have driven for at least 12 hours, as planned one year ago...

@@_Phoenix_. you have to consider that when the test ended the battery was not flat but at 82%, so it would have done another 50-60 km. So in total it would have been 250-260 km

According to official New_TWIZY_Brochure_2021.pdf: WEIGHT (kg) Kerb weight 474 (375) Range ECE -15 UTAC* (miles) 62 Battery weight 98kg Capacity (kWh) 6.1 kWh Twizy+ECat mass = 611 kg. So hidden mass = 137kg. For comparison 60kg H2-engine generates 22KWh per 1 kg fuel (Toyota Mirai data). So theoretically Twizy+H2-engine can run 30000km. But even for Li-Ion battery 98+137kg ~ 240 km. We can't take into account the digits on smartphone, because that app is not provided by the factory.

The manufacturer says that my scooter weighs 19 kg and has a range of 65 km, but in reality it weighs 21 kg and does a maximum of 35 km.

If your scooter doesn't fit the datasheet, you have an opportunity of warranty return (Note that a battery has a limited number of cycles and will degrade). Also one could add a ballast and turn on additional electric devices. So 2nd Twizy proves nothing.

What? He is owner of Twizy. And he is the Rossi's team member. To prevent the conflict of interests , the Renault factory person must be involved. Rossi told that to overcome the forbidding of charge in motion, he contacted the factory. So where were the Renault developers? According to patent law, Rossi should have obtained permission anyway. Where is the photo of the factory permission ? (Note that Twizy Manual suggests it can charge the battery in motion according the paragraph "Power recovery. When driving, if you lift your foot off the accelerator pedal, the motor generates electrical current during deceleration, and this energy is used to recharge the traction battery.".)
