Now you have to get your hands on a Cayin C9! A comparison would be very appreciated and very logical. I think fellow audiophiles who are interested in one of them will for sure think of the other at a point of time 🔥🐹🔥
Another great video! I would love to see this pitched against the new iBasso D16 / PB5 combo. Apparently they hammer the Enleum into the ground like a tent peg? 🤔
Yeah, the PB5 would be also a competitor even at the half of the price. I think the D16 Taipan not so much because it is foremost a DAC when combining it with a dedicated amp. From a DAC perspective the Taipan is an very exciting one. I hope he gets it in for a review 😛
You are not wrong anout the D16 Taipan. I suggested it because the pairing is about equal in price to the Enleum. I own the PB5 Osprey and sometimes pair it with the Cayin RU7 which makes an amazing combo 😃👍
@@warrensnook That must be a very sweet sounding combination 😎 I run the RU6 or RU7 with the Cayin C9, so I am on a similar path here with you. I read that your Osprey has even a bit more tubier sound signature than the C9 although using the same Korg tubes. I am already looking for the iBasso combo...just more of what I like 😈
@ramlord6669 RU6 / RU7 and C9 sounds like an awesome combination too! 😎 I haven't heard the C9 but can confirm that the PB5 gives a much warmer and euphoric presentation than solid state. What is most impressive is the amount of power it can output for its size 😈😁
I'm one of those guys that believes the 600 series can scale to near summit-fi levels with the right amplification. In my case, I experienced that with an RSA DarkStar. Lemme tell ya, it's REALLY HARD trying to convince people just how high the HD 600/650/6XX can scale because, well, no sane person would buy a super expensive amp for that "cheap" a headphone. 🤣
Actually im into iem n done with headphones Hmm a bit noisey either enleum nor mass kobo..Anyway i've reached the endgames for iem systems i mean.. Peace!
I would accept almost ANY headphone amplifer that was not made in China. The iFi Phantom that just arrived today is less than top quality (especially the non-functioning remote control unit and the faulty tube switch). :(
