I'm born in Canada. I don't understand why you all pledge allegiance to america. Canada is my birthplace, nothing else. The US & Canada are utter trash. My parents are West Indies & south America. I lean towards Africa.
Queen Tiye- Egyptian (probably really a Nubian) Queen Nzinga- Mbundu people Queen Gudit- Likely Sidamo people Queen Amina- Hausa people Tin Abutut- up for debate Queen Nefertiti- Egyptian Princess Yennenga- Probably not a Mossi but was from Northern Ghana Yaa Asantewaa- Ashanti people Kimpa Vita- Mbundu people (very likely) Queen Amanirenas- Kushite Queen Amanitore- Kushite
The fact that the Kushites received everything they wanted in the treaty and the Romans retracted the tax due to Kushite pressure. Not that the Kushites are the only ones who challenged Rome and maintained independence but it was rare. Historically for whatever reason It was extremely difficult to conquer Kush no non-African has ever conquered it. The Persians tried as well and failed.
I love it when he clarified THAT we, Black Woman, Earth, was here first! omg... You have...our history is beautiful and you so elegantly speak with pride, confidence. You, yourself, my Young Brother is Beautiful. Thank you
OMG, first I got teary eyed watching Solange's "Don't Touch My Hair" performance on SNL and now this video. I love your videos but this one tugged at my heart strings. Tears of Joy!
Bringing me to tears this made me happy and proud to be a black women to know that we have come from queens and royalty carrying a status of grace also elegance. How our black men cherished us.
Ahh I wish this video could be longer. I loved it from beginning to end. Black woman are spectacular beings and although we do not get appreciated enough, I am glad that we still have bold, and intelligent men who like you who lift us up. Thank you for the video. 🙌🏿

Your videos are amazing. I have some advice for you that WILL make your channel grow so you can reach more audiences. Do a better job taging your videos. I have the vid Iq and I can see that the only tags you have is Africa, African History, Black women, Black history, African American. Try adding more tags and being more specific. The first thing you should tag is the title of the video. You should also tag the name of your channel and also break the title up into smaller tags for example, you can also write Entire History, Entire black history, history of black women, black, African women. etc etc. This will help you rank higher in youtube so you can reach a wider audience. This is a simple trick that can grow your channel. We need more black people watching your channel. Good luck brother and I wish you all the success you can get.
im upset that this is the first this is my first real time hearing of real African history, but more than that, im very humbled and thankful for your channel.

Please can you narrate all of these videos into children's stories. They would be soooooo powerful and educational for our youth. My wife and I have our first child on the way and would love for them to enjoy your heartfelt story telling. - Avanti Ezzani (Los Angeles, CA)

This was very informative and so beautiful. I have always been fascinated by warrior women. I am honored to have this knowledge and greatly admire these powerful African Women in history. Shoutout to my sisters on the continent and throughout the diaspora. 💅🏾
So glad you updated a new video and especially about our African women. Always new their was something unique and special about us. Thank U, home team❣️
I do sympathize with the Anyuak. You guys have been abused by the Ethiopian government for a very long time. I cant promise you a vid anytime soon but I'll tell you this...Your ethnic group is Nilotic and came from a region farther up North as evidence seems to suggest. The Nilotic people are very very ancient people. There is no general consensus but I believe from the what I know that the earliest cultures along the Nile which created Egypt and Ta-Seti/Kush came from the Nilotic people...your group (Anyuak) branching off of these ancient people. No one really talks about it because we are to obsessed with later Egyptian and Nubian history but in the earliest times it was the Nilotes that sparked much of the Nile Valley culture.
As an Ethiopian i would like to tell you that, there is diversity in Ethiopia like any other country. Even though you are the minority in the country you're still Ethiopian. If you have ever seen Indians they range from the darkest to the lightest skin people and yet they are all Indians and proud. You should be proud to be Ethiopian and say you're Ethiopian so that people can learn about the diversity there. That's the only way you are going to educate people. I had a lot of Gambella friends at my school in Addis Abeba. By the way do you speak Amharic?
No, I was vary young when we moved out off Ethiopia to Kenya I was only 4 years old at the time so I don't know any Amharic at all and we are in Australia now
The Ethiopian queen you mentioned her real name is Queen Yodit. Gudit, is actually a nickname given to her, which means terrible one. She was horrendous and i'm very glad the men put an end to her. Just because she was a woman doesn't mean everything they do is to be praised. And i know that's not what you're saying, however that's what people in the comments are gloating about. Ethiopian history was almost wiped out and the Muslims would have take over had she remained in power, even though she was Jewish. Thankfully we had other great queens that i much prefer to be spoken about. i.e. Sheba, Taitu, queen Candaces (332 BC- 12 AD), Empress Menen, wife of King Selassie I, Zewditu I, etc. As always i enjoy your videos.
She was great because of her incredible influence but she was terrible because of how she was influencing. It shows how powerful black women are weather in a positive way or a negative way .Even so still very Powerful.
lovely videos home team. thank you so much. i find your work inspiring. i was wondering if you have any interesting history facts about Zimbabwe before any form of invasion?
Thank you for this compilation of truth, honor, tenderness, and strength. You have added to my knowledge of our people, and therefore myself. Ase'! You have a new subscriber.
It would be nice if we can have like a weekend school. Doesn't have to be accredited or anything since I know the Anglo's will want to have a hand in it to distort things. There could even be an affordable fee geared towards anyone of any economic background. If one can't pay, then maybe donations can be given.
Hi, Love your videos. Thank you for educating us and challenging us to research further on our rich African history. It is true African women are strong pillars in the community, I see it in my family; whilst respect for men and for women is maintained. Other strong women you can look into is MEKATILILI WA MENZA (from Agiriama tribe in Kenya- led a revolt against the British colonialists, captured twice in far lands, she escaped twice from prison walked back home to continue fighting - leading her people) The MAUMAU women (from the Agikuyu tribe, they led a dedicated military revolt against the British colony in Kenya- the men were at the forefront of the movement but the women fought alongside them, carrying guns and fighting in the war. We owe a huge part of Kenyan independence to the Maumau movement) P.s I'm from Kenya thank you
