The ENTIRE Minecraft 1.20 Update In 10 Minutes 

Perhaps we'll get more in 1.20.1

1.20.23 and still no plants.

The great thing about the sniffer is that it's open to have more plants added to it in the future. There is absolutely nothing about the design that says it only has to have those two plants. If Mojang has a plant idea that dose not fit any current biome or dimension they can just give it to the sniffer.

@@humourlessjester3584 I could maybe agree with this if they didn't abandon the other useless mobs like goats, axolotls, glow squids, pandas, polar bears and foxes

@@EmperorPenguin1217 With these mobs the designs are difficult to iterate on or they are so new it's not even a question why they don't add anything new yet, and it's not like they do this with all mobs. Almost every update now bees keep getting an upgrade, wandering traders get new trades now, and horses have been given a buff just recently. I think we are forgetting what mojang does do, too distracted by what they haven't done yet. Think of the sniffer being closer to a wandering trader where the trader's items are somewhat separate from the trader himself so they have always added new trades when there is opportunity. Ofc, This will not be something that they do every update but the fact is the sniffer's design allows the dev team those options.

and not just so YOU don't edit accidentally: so other players on a server cannot (easily/immediately) change them. it's truly such a lovely quality of life change, i cant wait for it

Love the signs, but I think they should make it where we can add an item frame it to make it display items. (Mainly for shops!)

That would invalidate the mechanics of the sniffer which are all about finding an ancient egg and hatching it.

im not sure but i think mojang said that they would make another dimension maybe they would open the portal after they update the end like they did with the nether not sure though

Imma be honest, what do you want them to add that 'adds to day-to-day gameplay'? What counts as day-to-day gameplay anyways in Minecraft? Building? Exploring? Redstoning?

With out the plate you will not get that armor unless you make it the same way as you do with diamond armor and as hard as it is to find that would be a waste.

@@dragonwing1982 true but if you can flex like imagine leather armor with every single netherite template that would be a waste yes but it would also be a big flex that with also a netherite beacon

they lay down on beds independently too but god i really want to see a mob animation/behaviour overhaul - the design of the newer mobs are so good and full of life and it really makes it glaringly clear how lacklustre the old mobs feel in comparison

@@pavtsan Yea but still they're completing features that were shown by them long ago. Technically it is a pt.4 not entirely, but it is. Entirely Brand New stuff would be maybe in 1.21

@@quimicasg I have mentioned in other shorts and posts that the cherry Grove as well, surprises like that while they iron out other gameplay mechanics are a little nice.

i mean you can have it when you make a new world press experimental and turn it on i would add elytra trimming

@@rudrodeepchatterjeeyes because we need more inventory space with all the new blocks and items they’re adding. your inventory fills up after exploring for like 15 mins if you’re finding villages and stuff like that

Problem is that Sniffers can only sniff a block once and there's no reason to even use the allays because of minecart hoppers

@@EmperorPenguin1217 1) Blocks can be refreshed with pistons 2) Allays require less setup to work

@@LineOfThy No they don't, the hopper minecart is way easier to find and it's more efficient. With the allay you need to set up note blocks and contain the thing so it doesn't fly away Hoppers do everything the allay can but better

i mean it IS a massive update, but there's a difference between "this is big because it's got lots of smaller QOL/gamechangers" and "this is big because they literally changed terrain generation" yknow?
