Robin buys a $12k dress from an auction that Julia Roberts is auctioning off. Robin then gets her to agree to an interview on the show. There's a discrepancy over the release form for the E! channel, so Julia's team and Howard decide to call the whole thing off. Howard is fuming. Then Julia calls in to explain...and eventually comes to the studio in person.

Yes actually. I just looked it up. The kids call was the end of April beginning of May of 1999. Rosie O'Donnell officially came out in February of 2002. Good call kid.
