He did amazing job in Semi final on a difficult turning pitch . Surya and Rohit were the heroes of Semi final. And Suryakumar Yadav will play the next T20 wc So chances are still there that he will perform in T20 wc final in future
Surya was trolled badly for his dissapointing performances specially in semi final and final of CWC 2023 . But happy that he got back all the respect that he derves based on all his heroics , specially in T20 format which suits him most !! And not just by batting , as you mentioned , by fielding too !!

If SKY would have dropped that catch still I dont think Miller will score 16 runs in the final over Hardhik's17th over was the turning point He got the big wicket of klassan and conceded only 4 runs If klassen would have stayed at the crease then SA would have won the game

We cried , we celebrated , and that catch which caught our heart was the most magnificent thing that had ever happened to India. Just imagining gives goosebumps. That one hour which we spent standing just to take the burden upon ourselves was paid off by our Indian cricketrs
