I was always fascinated by Mesopotamian civilisation because of the SUMERIAN civilisation . The name SUMERIA itself is Su + MERU and Meru is the holy mountain of Hindus , Jains and budhists which is believed to be in heaven and not on earth . Sumerian’s were the first to invent agriculture, mathematics, metallurgy, pottery etc . And in Hinduism 🕉 it is believed that lord shiva was the one who taught people all these agriculture , maths , medicine and other things . In Jainism we believed that it is Rishab Dev ( the first thirthankar) the son of MANU Nabhiraya Who taught the world all these . His symbol is also bull . Some believe that Shiva is Rishab Dev and also Adi yogi which means the first yogi ( the man with knowledge) .
