I don't believe this to be the DEFINITIVE best episode. I think episodes before and after this are even better, but that's besides the point You claim this is the best episode but just so many others you don't understand rudy talking to orsted here I will admit he ignores the fact that his party is frozen with fear, but thats only because he is not frozen in fear. The first question he ask is who you are, pretty common i dont really need to explain this Second, he ask if he knows anything about the teleportation event. This also makes sense when you stop and think what is rudys objective after he helps eris return home. Its to find his mother that went missing due to the event, so on the off chance that this obviously important/strong person knows anything about it of course you wana know Then orsted ask many questions such as a whose son are you and why are you looking in my eyes, affirming that rudy is not affected by his curse just like nanahoshi The final thing that rudy does is answer when orsted mentions the man-god. Many people see this as a OMG RUDY STFU. but you fail to realize that HE HASNT TOLD ANYONE ABOUT MAN-GOD. So with this person bringing it up it feels good to know that you can talk about that with someone until the next second you see his hand in your chest I will admit he cant read the atmosphere but i blame that on his inability to be affected by orsteds curse not on his childish stupidity
