It's because it looked like it was going to be a preachy religious movie, but it really wasn't, in the end it was about preserving knowledge, all knowledge including various religious texts from the past. I feel like it could have been Fallout: the movie though, it was one of the best post-apocalyptic films I've ever seen.

Denzel does what the Rock wishes he can do. Take a movie that’ll probably be terrible in the hands of anyone else and make it watchable/borderline good/great.

I agree but to be fair to the Rock, he is stuck in that place where even if he would like to pull a difference performance from what we are all used to, the studios are most likely going "No, no Dwayne. Do that Rock thing you usually do". Don't get me wrong though, not saying he could be anywhere near Denzel's level even if he was allowed to experiment.

There’s much more people that like Denzel than there are Obama...and he certainly doesn’t have as many haters as Obama...including half the country 😂. Denzel is more like the JFK or Abe Lincoln of movies. More believable as they all have a general likeness by just about everyone. Obama...not so much, regardless of your feelings of him 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hey, Denzel running for Dominos might be a story. I ran pizza for Dominos in Anacostia, DC, back in the late 80s. Got held up at gunpoint twice in 72 hours. Also got snagged by police who thought I was selling dope with the pizzas.

In all fairness, he probably had the disguise on in the opening scene to get into the country undetected. He was playing a brown skinned Muslim. He definitely looked the part. But the roast WAS HILARIOUS 😭😭😭😭

That hurricane scene was just Homemart, but outside. I liked this movie. I think it was better than the first one in many ways. I think the plot was better, and the kills were great.

They should do a third Equalizer, where McCall uncovers a plot, by a foreign power, to place an asset of theirs highly in our gov’t. It’s a far fetched idea, but it could make for a fun flick.

If you remember in the movie, Denzel's character basically was able to move around, fight and evade bullets beyond even what a sighted person could do. He was so good that no one even suspected he was blind. Not even we the viewers didn't until the very end.

Saw the first show in IMAX, A day earlier. The sound and camera work was beast. Part 3 should take place in NYC. Denzel's hometown and where the tv series took place. I wanna hear the original theme song from the tv series by Stewart Copeland(uptempo and kinda dark).

This movie was great, I assume Korey calling him a superhero was just being comical- because, anybody that watched the movie knows Denzel's character is far from a superhero; and, it's even explained in the movie(again). The movie is well worth full price, and I'd even say is better than the first one- which I loved, as well. I hope there's a part 3..

Above Beyond What are you talking about? He was essentially a Batman/daredevil type character. His fighting skills are off the charts and no one comes close to matching him. Not even his former team. He barely got hurt during the entire film.
