Almost unrecognizable hearing his voice crack and break when he shouts that he can stay clean. Heartbreaking.. at that moment I already know it was a "I'm going to prove you all wrong" moment for him there. Also side note.. no hate towards Max AT ALL this beef has been said and done but the irony of him saying that after he went downhill and had his dealer living in his closet is crazy. Some people really just don't know the effect of their words but I am so glad they are both sober and everyone came together again. It makes me really have hope ❤

I remember writing to Ronnie when he was in jail when I was like 16 that was a weird moment in my life but I for some reason still have the letters he replied to. Odd

Easily my favorite band of the scene era!! Killer vocals, top notch songwriting, and actual guitar solos! They had heavy songs, soft songs, and just down right emo night classics! It's incredible to see all the bands that spawned off them, from Carson Allens weird country music, to falling in reverse and Cry Venom, the impact that ETF had is undeniable0

The way Craig just drags Ronnie through the mud and then they immediately go ripping into their new record is cold as fuck 😂

Blessing in disguise for Ronnie. He was the driving force for ETF and he actually learned from his experiences. He is a lyrical/musical genius and is more popular than he ever was

Side note- Craig actually was pissed that The Word Alive replaced him without his knowledge. Said he found out second hand through being locked out from the band’s Myspace page and seeing he was replaced through pictures or something. He then released their first EP without their knowledge in a fit of rage. Glad he did too, TWA’s work with Craig is really good. I don’t got the sources, but I remember hearing or reading it a couple times.

I went to Warped Tour 07 and got to see both Escape the Fate and Blessthefall before it all the stuff went down. It was magical! Got to meet both bands that day too.

Fun fact: craig started the word alive, then when all the other members old pal tele was moving back, they wanted him to be in the singer instead so the kicked craig out of the band he started. I think this happened before craig joined escape the fate. All info i gained from a relatively recent interview.

Is there still going to be a part 2?

I remember 2 members of my band were super into this feud for whatever reason. Our singer was siding with Ronnie, and our drummer was defending Craig. I was just getting super pissed because we couldn't have a practice without them screaming at each other over some BS feud involving 2 completely different bands that we had no ties to whatsoever. Happy to hear that everyone finally patched things up and are pretty good friends now.

It’s interesting learning about the history of a band ive loved since I was 11! I actually saw Falling in Reverse, Escape the Fate, and The World Alive perform on their the drug in me is gold tour this past February. It was an amazing concert! Ronnie, Telle, and Craig are great vocalists and performers

I guess when Craig was on the road in bless the fall he got robbed , ETF was on the tour also and Ronnie gave him some cash to help him out since Craig got his wallet and laptop stolen and had his daughter to support. Don't quote me, I just remembered reading something like that.

This might be an unpopular opinion , but as iconic as Ronnie’s voice is , I always thought that Craig was an overall better singer . It just felt more legitimate when Craig was singing

Ronnie’s vocals were better than Craig’s imo and I can see why Ronnie was so pissed. He got addicted to drugs WITH Max. He started the band and was the LEAD singer with Max. He got into the fight taking up for Max and sent to prison for something he didn’t do. I remember when this happened Max was such a dick to Ronnie. Talked about him like shit. Max wouldn’t have had shit without Ronnie. Yea he had problems but what rockstar doesn’t? Fucking hypocrite.

I’m from Vegas and was in the music scene back in the 2000s. But my band “ Ryu Vs. M. Bison “ was like early early electrocore dance beats with screaming... I remember when escape the fate came out with their first EP I knew they were going to be huge. Really good live. It was like when I was watching the killers play “mr brightside” at skillet cafe in 2003, you could just tell they were going to make it, they were too good

Don’t forget that Escape the Fate and the Crunkcore artist J Bigga we’re both in the same local Las Vegas scene at the same time. I first heard of Escape the Fate from a J Bigga vlog back in 08. J Bigga went out to a lot of their local shows and was friends with Ronald when he was practically homeless.

I remember laughing when I heard this band, (which a friend of mine showed me) because they were so different from all the other bands I was told or I thought at the time were “truly heavy” bands But the more I listened to it the more I realized it WAS heavy and mixed other genres I loved over the years
