the video does a bad job at explaining how exactly to do it, here's a more detailed guide if you actually wanna try it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-INuLCGYmuZM.html
@@cameronzeferino6938 you can't trap prisoners or guards. You can lock them up momentarily, but only if the only connecting only exit to the space is blocked by a poster or fake wall block (possible in san pacho) and when a new period starts the guard or prisoner will teleport to the location of next period's activity
I remember playing with this a long time ago. I didn't need to bury everyone, just a few to trap the medics, and from that point anyone could be knocked out permanently; the medics just didn't get to them. Yes, myself included; I accidentally activated permadeath.
fun fact: there is another way for medics to be unable to get you (not sure about guards) if, in fort tundra, you open the "rock hammer hard place" escape and have a maintenance worker cover the entrance back up, if you have no cutting tools to get out you're softlocked either you surrender and the medics wont be able to get to you, or you wait till morning where you miss rollcall and the dogs CLIP THROUGH THE ENTRANCE to KO you, and the medics STILL wont be able to get you yes, i got this through self experience. will it works with a guard? maybe...
there's no escape from the dogs about getting guards stuck there, i honestly don't even know because i think i never completed that escape, plus it takes a lot of time (speedrun of that escape is ~20 minutes)
imo,to precent this, the player should get a way faster regen speed if the medics don't pick they up for 20 seconds, then the player wakes up when their health is back to 100(it still would softlock you in the situation you commented, but better than nothing)
I believe you can trap yourself in rattlesnake springs by going into the underground railroad with another person. At from my experience, the dogs aren’t able to go through the pull door. However medics were able to go through just fine. What I find strange though is that the dogs would try to get as close to the player as possible. This meant that if you tried to go to the block exit in the tunnel, the dogs would just run through the whole map just to get to you. How they know where exactly I am underground at all times is beyond me… but damn did I realise just how fast they can be sometimes.

I like how the medics complain about letting you live and saying that they should let you go, WHILE DIGGING THROUGH THE GROUND. They may hate their job but they do it well. Or they're tsunderes.
Man I’ve been playing that game for nearly 2 years with a friend and none of us knew it was possible to tie the guards up Kinda makes sense now how hard time we had crafting the keys
If the medic gets to you before you finish tying a guard, the duct tape or rope just gets refunded. So you omly have to worry about interruptions and wasting stuff if another guard sees you. I suggest talking to a guard near your cell with an instakill weapon, duct tape, and putty/circuit and wire. The other guards will leave for another period like exercise time, letting you craft in peace. Doing it near the cells just lets you lure them in for extra privacy. In multiplayer, one should have a weapon while the other has the tape/rope and crafting items. Even if a guard walks past, they'll only get mad if you take a key while wearing inmate outfit or birthday suit.
That one final sequence with the prison completely empty is possibly the most Let's Game It Out shit I have ever seen coming from someone who isn't Josh.
27/07/2022 The "mass burial" Incident, After a Big riot On Center Perks 2.0, Many guards were found missing, as well as prisoners, and medics. Only Enio, The warden, and the camera men, along with some personel survived. After the riot, the Prison personel reported to hear Muffled Screaming coming from below. The theory that everyone was burried, was proven true after 2 Guards dug up using their batons and confiscated shovels to escape and report this incident
I done this before on rattlesnake springs, I was so disappointed to find out the hostage SOMEHOW WITHOUT ANY TOOLS BRAKES OUT LOL, It's been a year and I created a new project I decided to be the first I think to make a underground base I hope more people do more weird Ideas like this, ask me questions if you want
I like how there needs to be whole reapairmen when the medics literally unscrew vents and dig concrete with their hands not even to mention they can fully heal floors damages
Once I got a body in my underground tunnel and got trapped cause a guard patched it up while I was inside and the medic bailed me out by tunneling in just to get the body and I managed to get out😂
Im suprised there's still a TE2 content this year, whoever you are. thanks for keeping the TE community alive. also what roll call music is that on 0:43
Did RU-vid just randomly recommend this video to thousands of viewers? I don't even play The Escapists or haven't watch any related videos about it for months.
that genocide reminds me of that one episode of adventure time where the deer defeats the heroes and traps every citizen of the candy kingdom in the sewer
I remember playing around with dogs and keys. I got a red key and with a pickaxe locked myself inside a wall with no exit. THE DOG CHEWED THROUGH THE WALL AND THEN PUT IT BACK IN IT'S PLACE.
How did you get them stuck though? It was unclear for me. Please give me an example of how to do so. Also, I didn't expect you to be such a good fighter. I would scream trying to take down five guards and then screaming even louder after I took them down with my fists, then mocking them that they were beaten by an unarmored inmate XD Please do more escapists 2 videos!
i was planning to do it a bit differently but originally i forgot to start recording so all the footage of me beating up all inmates and guards, then burrowing them got lost, so i improvised to my best extent lol as for how to get them stuck, dig a hole, lure someone in and wait for the medic to arrive. place a desk on top of the hole and he won't be able to come out. if you break down a wall and dig down in the place where it was and beat up someone inside of the hole and close it up, the medic will actually replace the ground for a brief moment after he comes down which gives you the opportunity to place the wall back where it stood, getting him stuck. after he gets stuck, no further medics will be dispatched as long as people get beaten up in the underground layer, nobody will simply come to them, even if it's a player who goes down. i'm not sure if this applies only to center perks though one more thing, you might want an oneshot weapon or you want to beat up the person you are luring in to low health before you get them to go into the hole, their fighting ai in 1x1 spaces is a bit clunky and they can easily beat you up and thanks for the support
@@AnanasIsAtYourDoorstep Sorry if I sound too needy but if you have specifics, please do tell me. Like in 2:50, there weren't walls placed back and they got stuck. How so? Beating up a guard is really nothing new to me, since I've beaten 352 guards or so. If this works then I might have to give it a sub. Also can you steal and keep the key after? And what's the hole in the roll call area doing XP
@@carelesscaretaker4979 as i said, only one medic will be dispatched at a time as long as he doesn't make it back (he gets stuck underground), and everyone has to be knocked out in the underground area. also you can't place a wall back on a dirt pile you replaced yourself, it has to be replaced by a medic i didn't try pulling the key out of their pockets but they never wake up so i assume it's safe- and the roll call hole is dug literally where the warden is standing during the speeches (i literally stood in front of him and started digging under his feet), and he doesn't seem to mind that lol
@@carelesscaretaker4979 basically what i did at 2:08 as long as you don't lift up the desk he will be stuck there forever. you can just lure the rest to a random hole you dug and beat them up there, no second medic will come for them i don't have time to make a video rn and sorry if my explanations are a bit unclear, but this is the best i can do (also one note, medic will get unstuck once you quit out and join back in)
One time i literally got stuck in the vents at rattlesnake springs with no way out because i locked myself in to hide but i forgot MY SCREWDIVER BROKE then roll call passed i got demolished by a dog and the medic literally couldn't get me out of the vent. Then i reloaded the save but the medic was holdings me on top of the solitary cell and wouldn't put me on the bed. I had to start all over again
i get asked this a lot but, i honestly never tested it so i cannot give a definite answer. but my guess is that the medic just reaches the vent either way
Fun fact: This works in vents too, and you can do this EXACT THING ON U.S.S anomaly, Dungeons'n'Duct tape (Albeit, I don't know that prison) and H.M.P Offshore, it's like this but without intellect. Get into a room with a vent and a desk in the same room, unscrew the vent with a screwdriver/Fake vent cover (NEEDED!) Kill the guard, wait for the medic to go in the vent, Put back the vent and QUICKLY move the desk on top of the vent, then kill all other guards underground/in the vents. EDIT: Dropping a sub and a like because I'm using this glitch to experiment, also MAYBE you could bury every guard AND dog, and have it complete sandbox, without having to worry about the dogs. Albeit though this is gonna be difficult to do on HMP offshore, dungeons'n'duct tape and U.S.S anomaly. Do the same thing as in the video but take the key and DON'T bury the guard. Let the dog get it, Bury the dog. Repeat for every dog. EDIT 2: You don't need a desk, just time the vent cover. That's it.
