Very good video - agree with everything you say. I was in Bucharest earlier this year - loved it. Lots to see, food was great, getting around was easy (metro/walk for me), friendly people. Knowing a few words always goes down well. The ethnographic museum (up the road from the Trumphal Arch) was quite interesting. As you say the Old Town is the authentic city and a very nice area.
I did the Bucharest half marathon last year. It’s a nice city and would highly recommend king mihai park. I would recommend getting the train from the airport, it’s easy to get into the city
Thanks for your comment and your suggestion of using the train. I hope to go back again and I'll use the train this time to see what that's like. I bet running the marathon there was a wonderful experience, congrats on that.
