He is respected and hated at the same time in iran We hate his cruelty but admire his genius war tactics and was the last iranian king to conquer land for iran
He is not respected in Iran. He was the founder of Qatar dynasty with the most stupid kings in the history of Iran. They were weak, stupid, and destroyed Iran.
A few Notes: 1) Suleiman II wasn't the last of the Safavids. 2) Zands were not a kingdome and Karim Khan wasn't the king of Iran. Karim Khan, Ali Mardan Khan Bakhtiari and the mayor of Isfahan reached an agreement in 1750, putting a Safavid prince on the throne as Ismail III while Ali Mardan Khan Bakhtiari became the deputy of the state. in 1751 Karim Khan fully took over and created the position "Vakil-e Ra'aya" or the deputy of the people, the official monarch was still Ismail III who died on 1773. Karim Khan didn't declare himself the king in the last six years of his reign either, I'm not sure but I guess he may have accepted Shahrokh as the king as no Safavid price succeeded Ismail III. 3) Fath-Ali was actually the regal name of the second Qajar king, his birth name was Baba Khan.
Now that you've covered Timur I, you should definitely do 2 other videos. One about Genghis Khan and one about Nader Shah Afshar as these 3 men are the most famous central asian conquerors...
It is interesting to know that Mirza Shafi Mazandarani (the minister of Agha Muhammad Khan Qajar) suggested that Shah Rukh Shah and one of his sons should be exiled to Mazandaran to his former friends who were rulers there and where he was born. Shah Rukh died on the way there and Shah Rukh's son was exiled to Mazandaran and the desired place. Shah Rukh Shah's son was tortured like Shah Rukh Shah at the time of Agha Mohammad Khan or Fath Ali Shah and died under torture. Apparently, they realized that Shah Rukh Shah's son had not revealed the whereabouts of all the jewels. This information comes from some local sources but there is no record of it.
@@papazataklaattiranimam original Aryans were yamnya who looked like Iranians more than Europeans, but nevertheless we are still caucasoid, while original Turks weren’t even caucasoids like modern day turks, they were mongloids.
@@persianguy1524 Mongoloid (/ˈmɒŋ.ɡə.lɔɪd/[1]) is an obsolete racial grouping of various peoples indigenous to large parts of Asia, the Americas, and some regions in Europe and Oceania. The term is derived from a now-disproven theory of biological race.
well researched video, but as the comments have pointed out, there's some minor misinformation here and there, clearly accidental though and a great effort nonetheless considering this video is 1 year old by now
Actually Agha in his case means Eunuch. Agha can also mean Sir. In Farsi, these two "Agha", are spelled differently. Agha meaning Eunuch is spelled with the letter "Ghaen", which is how Mohmmas Shah is addressed. The word Agha meaning Sir is spelled with the letter Ghaen replaced by a different but phonetically similar letter.
@@bannedgunnerAgha(ağa) is not a Persian word, it is an Azerbaijani turkic word, generally meaning:slave owner ,land owner, a person who owns money.(i.e. the person in power in general)
The Azerbaijanis derive in part from a heritage of Turkic rule over Iran, during most of the past 1,000 years. Iran adopted the Shi'a version of Islam under the rule of the Safavid Azerbaijani Turks beginning in 1500. The Turkic Qajar Dynasty (1779-1924) controlled all of present-day Iran and extensive territory in the Caucasus and Central Asia. When Colonel Reza Khan Pahlavi overthrew the Qajars, he promoted Persian language, culture, and identity at the expense of Azeri Turkish. Zartman, J.K. Persian has always been the official language of the country. Nowruz Eid was always celebrated during Qajar and previous dynasties. Iran has always been Iran, even during the time of non-Iranian dynasties such as Ilkhani and Temurian, Persian was the administrative language. What is Joke: If we say that Iran has no history and Baku has history, or if we say that Greece has no history and North Macedonia has history, Pan-Turks are Joke in the whole world.😂😂
@Spartan_Disiplin azeris are from Persian origins ( educate yourself, please) azeris in iran are Persians (carry Persian ethnicity), but some of them are turkified Any azeri takes dna test gets Persian ethnicity ...Turkish blood in iran is a big lie ! ...even turks in turkiye are mostly Europeans and Greeks! Real turks are in Central Asia Anyway azeris are Persians!
Safavids, Afshars and Qajars were turkic dynasties who ruled in persia untill 1925. The language used in the army and dynasty members was Azerbaijani turkish language. Only official correspondence was persian language. The Ancesters of Shah İsmael were from Ardabil (located in south Azerbaijan) When Naser al Din Shah Qajar became Shah, he can’t speak persian because his mother tongue was Azerbaijani turkish.
They werent turkic, turkics are asian in appearance these people were Persians, sometimes of moxed origins like shah ismail and they were totally Persianized and spoke Persian
Basically woman sang songs about his manhood and he got so pissed off that he blinded all the citizens because of it and then he ordered to sang songs about them Kerman is the most opium addicted province since that event and people cant really get over it
When you pronounce America in Farsi the way that American pronounce it, then expect that American pronounce Iran in English the way that Iranian pronounce it.
In contrast to those Iranian officials who claim that the Turks in Iran were actually originally Persians, the late IRGC Commander Qassem Suleimani claimed that the descendants of Turkic dynasties that live in Iran are not Iranian. Suleimani claimed: "Turks are aliens and non-Iranians. For hundreds of years (during Turkic rule in Iran), Iran had no history. Non- Iranians like the Seljuks invaded and ruled Iran."74 Shaffer, B.
