I love Eva Green, her work and personality. She really has that cool girl elegance with nonchalant sensuality and a sweetness that just emanates humanity. It’s like watching you talk to a mirror. And her skin and hands...my gosh. I’ve had a massive girl crush on you both forever and I was just too happy throughout the whole video. I’ve always had a love affair with the 1920s so this was all in my guilty pleasure alley. I appreciate that you showed us glimpses of the whole creative process that you have to go through to make these looks happen with the director, costume designer, and the actress. It elaborates that your work is truly a team effort. My favorite look is based on what I felt would be really dramatic and impressive to see in real life at a party...the black and gold eye look you did on the model with the wine colored lip. That took my breath away. I know it was just a sample but it really reminded me of the 1920s and John Galliano’s work during his Dior heyday. All the looks were magical but that one made me wig out faster than a queen on RuPaul’s Drag Race. A close second would be the cobalt eye. So chic. Again, thank you so much for your videos. They’re a wonderful dose of glamour.

I am so overwhelmed by this!!! Dumbo is my favorite disney movie and Eva Green is my favorite actress of all time! Combine that with Lisa's magical makeup artistry and I am so overjoyed that I am in tears, crying of happiness that I am alive to witness such beauty on screen. Lisa--I'm a trained scientist who also loves makeup, and I've been following you for years... I have to say you are SUCH a scientist in your trade... You research the history of your art. You EXPERIMENT with different looks. You give your best conclusions. BUT, besides your vintage looks, THIS really shows your curious, scientific method style!!!! You're telling me about all the stuff you TRY out that looks great, but you tell me what won't work all day long. What works long term? What works short term? My whole life I have paid so much attention to hair and makeup in movies that I forget to pay attention to the movie!! Lisa! I just went to see this last night (only bc of you and Ava) .... i made my date wait until the very end of the credits to see your name. He wasnt really getting why it was important to me. I told him "there's a confidence you get from being able to make-up your face... i know how because of her." He instantly got it. You somehow managed to make Ava even more breathtaking. ❤👏
