Honestly, this and Hands of a Thief are my top two favorite songs that have ever been made. Hands of a Theif got me back into listening to music as a whole and drawing, while Evil King just gives me goosebumps listening to it. And the whole album itself gives you a new perspective with OoT. Can't wait for the next Zelda song you make!

What I like about this song is how ganondorf's lament juxtaposes with Link's life; He says that Link could never know what its like to be alone, but that's how Link grew up, as an outsider amongst his "people" in the kokiri.

Zelda Anime OP Idea: This would play as the opening song, but rather than focusing entirely on Ganondorf, it'd also focus on the new incarnations of Zelda and Link. Though "same old boy" would have an image of Dark Link, who'd basically be the Ghirahim of this story idea, and one of the few who is aware of the cycle. Link's backstory portrayed in the op: Running as a child from a monster of some kind, pulling the Master Sword from its pedestal in desperation, and being hauled away by knights. "I was young, I had always known" "The barren desert that I roam" Zelda in an open but empty area "You could never understand how it feels to be alone" Link in a claustrophobic armory, surrounded only by weapons, mounted as if she herself was one of them.
