Hi - awesome run and I use it a lot to inspire my own tactics. Just one thing - was it by accident that you had so little enemy coming in this bloody chapter 6 rooms? I have waves of enemies chasing me there ... damn it :D
I was just looking for a 100% run two weeks ago and couldn't find anything. Thank you for not only being basically the only guy who still plays TEW, but also for doing it all.
For you guys wondering about the time stopping, IT DOES NOT MATTER. We go by in game time in which is shown at the end of the game. The split timer is different
To go further with this: Across platforms and, depending on what your running this on, load times might be different. Going with in game time cuts off people with superior machines obliterating lower end competitors.
haha well this was run wasn't a usual speedrun, my any% runs are usually deathless. hard to not make mistakes when collecting everything and changing up strats.
I admire your dedication to this game and I want to thank you for all the time and effort you put in to it. It's so fun to watch because of how easy you make it look. I'm looking forward to what you'll do for TEW 2!
Enjoy your runs, thanks for the share. Your no BS Game play and not a lot of nonsense commentary. Your Speed run on Re7 was impressive. Game developers may not like your runs, but it does expose the games as they are, so perhaps it will challenge developers to do a better job.

Outstanding, compare with mine about the get killed like 100+ and 32 hours or more to beat this game in normal mode, you are just like a god to me. So many video game speed run videos. These people must really love the game they play to want to play it over and over and over again until the run is perfect. Better them than me.
Good stuff, Jigzaw. Apologies because I'm sure you've already addressed this a hundred times; but, what's your gut feeling for EW 2? Are you feeling confident that it will be superior to this game? What's your thoughts on Shinji Mikami not returning as director? Is this a concern?
The first game has so many flaws I'm sure they will correct with the sequel. As for the Director, it's the same Director that did the Kidman DLC so no worries there. Also Mikami has just as much influence as the first game, just not directing it.
With Nightmare/Akumu being exactly the same besides the one hit kill it wouldn't have made it any more difficult though, just requires more safe strats
i know you guys do these runs over and over again for practice and you know every part of the game to heart. but do you still get afraid or tense at certain points in the game?
Pre-order dlc. (Edit: Also the only good additional bolt type is the fire one since every enemy is weak to it, poison is just...slow albeit good for lesser enemies)
hahahah I am all maxed out in character and weapons and I can't help myself but continue to pick up green gel and that is what I say in my head. "oooh piece of candy." lol
He's on the ground laying down, all 4 haunted wake up when you interact with them. it looks like a cut because I was entering the stealth kill animation, you teleport to where their backside is.
That part at 52:00 was such bullshit. I hate it when the fucking game just clips an enemies attack animation in like that and you end up getting stun lock and even end up taking more damage from other enemies while in the animation.
There are some mistakes in the game. Enemies are so dummy. No wound when falling from high place. He can still run against the wall. U can hit your partner with bow but s/he is still alive. Best game but not perfect.
To each their own. I find them to be very different types of games but enjoyed both. The second one is far more open world than this one which I liked.
