Wow! I thought I was the only one. I loved the cat in this. Maybe because I have six cats (one of them black), and I love them a lot. It's amazing how a mascot can have such sway in a game.
This one of those songs that makes you think about life and how everything will end eventually. To the people who happened to be alive when i am, i hope your life is a great one.
One of the really good games I've ever played. I literally cried at the end. Sebastian really deserves a good and normal life now.... I'll never forget these series. A father's love for his daughter.. It was too well made
I see not a single comment with hate/toxicity here. OST is applause worthy but you, yes YOU are applause worthy too. About time, someone did that for you, for you all :) *Applauses*
Honestly, Sebastian is the best dad ever. Even though It’s a videogame. Sebastian is risking his own life trying to save Lily. Now he can peacefully enjoy his life with his daughter. I hope they will release a third game.
It didn't stand a chance in 2017. Especially next to the highly acclaimed RE7. Tango needs to give the series one more shot at least. Would love to see josephs story told for once.
The studio who made the games just got shut down by Microsoft :(. At least the franchise ended on a high note, that's more than most games can say today. Rest in peace Sebastian and the Evil Within.
Sebastian Castellanos Both games are so amazing. The gameplay and story are perfect. I need a third game. What happened to Joseph? Also STEM reactivated etc
I just finished this game yesterday. To be very honest, the soundtrack of this game is absolutely amazing. I mean the first time this song played it was when Sebastien entered STEM again. At that moment I dunno. It felt really different, it was like.... I dunno, It just resonated in that moment so much that you can't forget it. Like it first felt like Sebastien really didn't wanna go there, but this was his chance to change history for himself. Now in this scene. It's feels different. It's like.... He's tired. He's been through so much, he never wanted to go back, but he's there, this is his moment where he can take a deep breath and just tell himself, one last push. I dunno it got me a bit emotional. You really feel for the guy. However the music aside. I really really wish they had made this more of a horror game. Like believe me, after I finished this game, I immediately went back to the first😅 but just for comparison sake, and definitely the first one is much more scarier, even the enemy designs are scarier, the atmosphere is especially scary. I think they should have focused more on the atmosphere, but then again this wasn't Ruviks mind at all anyway. But I feel it's because of this that the game didn't do so well, because it felt more like an action game. Like in the first game, I was scared all the time. You had less bullets, enemies were scarier, places were more dark and there was less music and even the demon designs were better. It just gave a really scary vibe. It also had more locations. So I personally really enjoyed the first game more than this. But because I became a fan of the first, I was emotional attached to Sebastien (for me he's like a second Leon, cool and kickass😂) so I really wanted to see his story unfold. I truly hope they make EW3. Bring back Ruvik, give a story of how he wants revenge on sebastian and make the game much more scarier. Other than that the other aspects of this game are top notch. I personally believe everyone should play this game. But my dream goal would be to see a crossover. Like just imagine Leon walking in the woods in some cutscene and both Sebastien and Leon meet for the first time😍😍😍. It would be a dream come true for me.
Such an emotional moment, it’s the end of the road, do or die here. Everything is there waiting for you, even the office where you would once go to using a mirror is now there waiting for you. The final encounter between Sebastian and the nurse is sad too, it’s the last time their ever gonna see each other ever again…the last time the nurse can help Sebastian in the final moments of the game. Such a beautiful sequel this is man.
Just beat this game again for the first time since it came out and let me tell you. Going through hell TWICE in order to get to this point of Sebastian's story will be one of the most memorable moments of video games for me. The music, the atmosphere, the stakes, the last conversation with Tatiana and the sleeping cat. I'm so glad they made a sequel to this game. One of my favourite horror shooters of all time.
It is in the official soundtrack : "Making your way home". But I have to say that with the visuals and the sound design, it's even better... thanks for sharing :) (dust in my eye... This ending is so beautiful)
this part of the game have a special place in my heart. I dunno how to explain it but i had really hard feeings when i was playing this part. What an amazing game, atmosphere and soundtrack.
This game... I was so depressed after playing.. it's one of my most favourite game ever !!!! I got so emotional fr.. I couldn't believe this game has ended.
First 80% of The Evil Within 2: He he, this game is fun! Last 20% of The Evil Within 2: None of them deserved this. Not Seb, Not Myra, Not Lilly, Not Liam, Not Hoffman, Not Julie, Not Tatiana. No one deserves that much suffering.
If the end of the universe had a theme, this should be it ^^ Cause in the end everything will end. I know this sounds edgy like it comes from some 14 year old wannabe-depressed emo teenager from the year 2005 but that's the reality. As time progresses everything will end and fade sooner or later. At some point the last living thing will die. Later on the last star will eventually die. Even later and everything will either be swallowed by black holes or just decay over timeframes that are completely outside of our realm of relevance or ability to understand. And at some point that last black hole is gone and the last atom has decayed and the universe has become a perfect void, only filled with Particle-Antiparticle pairs that appear and disappear on the planck scale levels of spacetime. But apart from that nothing will ever happen again. You can wait Quintillions of years without the slightest thing happening until maybe at some point something restartes the universe itself. So...yeah in the end it really all is pointless. But does that mean you shouldn't continue on? No :) Cause in the small scheme of things, things do matter. To you and/or to others :)
it wouldnt be weird that they took inspiration from inception for some parts of the games, like this one. also TEW is one of my inspirations, i love all the dreaming theme.
Myra is not dead you'all! It can't be!! She's the core!! We have no confirmation that she's dead!! Her and Sykes are the only unknowns right now!! I need TEW 3 right fucking now, so that a grown up Lily/ Kidman can return to STEM to bring back Myra and reunite Sebastian's family!! Please!!😭😭🥺🥺🥺
