And one is by a company who had only made one game prior (The Evil Within). On an artistic level, TEW1 and 2 still blow RE4R out of the water. RE4R just had technically better graphics.
The first EW was superior as a game by a landscape. It was a focused, uncompremized experience while the second game was developed to meet expectations of modern gaming trends, which made it forgettable while the first one is a cult classic.
Evil Within 2 had more going on, bigger areas to explore. Terrifying at times. Re 4 is awesome but more of an on rails, action thrill ride. Evil Within 2 will have you screamin for mommy when you're reloading that shotgun 😅
RE4 Remake takes much longer for the scare that the horror is difficult to introduce than Evil Within 1or2 and REBiohazard and RE8, which were much better than the remake. If Evil Within 1 & 2 had remakes they'd better again too. The movement, gunplay eventhou 6years older is still better than RE4 Remake. RE series needs an entirely different gunplay, it's too designated and the Evil Within series horror maps and action to horror is way better looking because RE series am were always hard to control. no they aren't. there isn't a company that hates modders more than capcom. they just won't go to war with every modder out there. Which is why there are cosmetics but no game changing mods@@superiorgaming8086
