hey guys well after 5 years with the mah blue rays gramlights 57dr I figuired it was time for some new wheels and here they are
I got some AME Tracer Tm02 in SBC finish they're an 18x10.5+15 and they definitely changed the look of the Evo X

Thanks I've considered titanium lugs for ages but am worried wheel cleaning chemicals would eat the burnt finish

18x9.5 +22 is the perfect specs for the EVO X I think

They just sit a bit too far inside the guards is the only issue. Perfect for not needing to roll the guards ajd still be wider yes for sure

There is no negativity just the law states wheels cannot stick out past guards but I suppose ur above the law

I prefer mag blue myself but that kind of black chrome look is good too. The wheels remind me of enkie rpf01s

Yeah I love the mag blues too but after 5 years on them a change was needed. AME is owned by Enkei and makes the wheels they just have a slightly different design but very similar

Your centre caps say "Gojira" which is basically Godzilla. Sell em to a GTR owner... Love the width, but I liked the stealthiness of the other wheels. But as you said, change is good!

chrome look not for me, i'd spray the new wheels in that same colour blue to keep the theme, it would also be a one of a kind if u did

Same for me. Chrome doesn’t belong on EVOs. I would paint gloss black. I think u might run into difficulties with the 5-0 if u get pulled over they will easily pull u up on that fitment. Blue calipers - Hell yes. Totally agree.

Yeah they're not to everyone's taste but I'm loving the new look and even though they look like a chrome wheel they're actually lightweight and are lighter and stronger than my old 9.5s

Love the wheels do Queensland allow wheels to stick out past guards as nsw would get done for oversize

Thanks mate, yeah I could get done for it but I think I'll be fine as many people in our group run this size and nobody has been done for it But it's a risk and I'll keep my old wheels ready to go in case

also one more thing bro. do i need to get a new manifold to suit the td05 turbo in my ralliart or will the stock ralliart manifold fit the td05?

Yeah you will need a new manifold, don't get an OEM evo x one though as they all crack so get an aftermarket

A TD05 is smaller so will spool earlier but make less peak power generally. Although a TD05 on stock engine is all you'll need imo
