That’s why I’m not giving mcfarlane a pass for releasing the movie 6 pack of batmen from Keaton , Kilmer. Cloontang, to batbale and the best of the best batfleck , they were literally working on the bvs sculpted body but when Gunn and the rock messed everything up they had to pull all of affleck likeness from anything being made after December 2022 that why the spin master ones look more like Ben then the mcfarlane and they cancel the bvs sculpt for then6 pack that celebrates every batman since Keaton, they take the tactical suit not even the suit from the beginning of justice league which is a black version of the bvs suit , they take the justice league mcfarlane wave and stick a different head from the chase no goggle version “ that already was made and I have it, but no they even didn’t have time to change the card for him in the set it’s the bvs suit still , f mcfarlane
The BvS suit is always my favorite of these. It just looks magnificent and the fact they cracked the neck turning code is amazingly creative. Before this, I remember someone on Brotherhood of the Bat making a couple Keaton cowls out of silicone to aid in the mobility, (still didn't look natural if I remember) but the design of the BvS cowl just takes it to a whole new level. I'd love seeing a blue/gray version with an oval like books 1 and 2 of Dark Knight Returns
Now, I know it was just promotional material, but the Justice League Batsuit with the white/silver emblem is my all-time favorite. A true Justice Lord..
Makes me feel for Ben. He got to portray one of the most badass versions of his childhood superhero and had millions of people who would agree. Batfleck forever!
I loved Michael Keaton and Christian Bale with their version of Batman. But the ultimate look, physical build, costume, colors, cowl goes to BvS. It was better than I could have hoped for. Ben did a great job and even the beard stubble was perfect. This is my all time favorite Movie Batman to date. It doesn’t seem possible to beat. It was just that good.
The original BvS suit was the one for sure! He looked so beefy and brutal! I remember the lead up to the debut image of Batfleck beside the Batmobile released by Snyder - the fans had been buzzing online for months with discussions and image predictions of what the suit may look like! Nothing could prepare us for that image...so bad ass!
Affleck's BatMan was truly the Best ... and the Most Believable!! His performance was Great! And the Look was (In My Opinion) Absolutely SPOT ON! It only makes sense that BatMan would eventually have to Bulk Up so he could Successfully Fight off all those Tough Street Thugs & SuperVillians. Gadgets are Nice - But sometimes it actually comes down to Brute Strength!!
people can hate on Affleck as Batman but I personally really loved him as Batman. Not as much as other actors like Pattinson or Bale but still. Out of the live action batsuits I love the BvS suit the most. He looks like an absolute beast.
From what we've seen so far and from previous scoops, it seems like Batfleck's scene will all be set pre-time travel, and I hope that his last scene there, before the multiverse shenanigans, ends up being a good sendoff for the character
The Knightmare suit is my fan favorite I love all of the details, all the different pieces that make up the whole suit. I’m actually using your tutorial videos to make my own Knightmare suit! I love weathering the different pieces to make them look dirty, sandy, like they have been sitting in a desert! Great video Chris! I'll always wish we had gotten more of Batfleck. Particularly that solo movie versus Deathstroke, and I will also always be grateful we got the fantastic films where he does play Batman...
I would’ve loved if they’d gone back to the BVS suit for the solo Batfleck film. It just didn’t get enough screen time and it’s probably my favorite batsuit after TDK
There were a lot of ups and downs in the Snyder era of DC movies but Ben Affleck as batman was definitely a highlight. I didnt love BvS but the batman warehouse fight scene was the best part and had me pumped to see a stand alone batfleck film. Its unfortunate that things didnt work out to get one, but I will look forward to seeing his role in the flash movie.
Chris my favorite actors to play the Batman are Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton but the first Batman I watched on TV was Adam West's version of the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder. Awesome video bro. Thank you for sharing it and have a great day my friend and thank you again.
Watching this while looking at my 30 inch Batfleck figure fixed up with inspiration from your own work. A mini Ben Affleck. Love that cowl. And the images that Zack Just released if the Trinity shows just how awesome that cowl was.
The BVS Suit has been and always will be my favorite suit that he’s ever worn, it’s just perfect in my eyes and I based a cosplay off of it that I’ll be sporting at a convention soon, when I first saw all the promotional material for Batman V Superman I was like “There’s no why that I’m gonna see a better looking Batman then that!” I’d gotten tried of every adaptation of the onscreen Batman always wearing black, because it hides so much details and whole it looks cool it just feels really odd to see him in a fully black suit sometimes, but when I saw Ben sporting the grey and black I knew I had a dream cosplay to make from it, all these years later he’s still one of my examples of a proper looking live action Batman, hearing how miserable he was during a few of the reshoots reminded me of a dead end job I was in, the money was fine, but I was miserable and tired… I understood where he was coming from, I’m in a better place now and I hope Ben is too as I will be seeing him in the Flash once more and I hope he’ll get a fitting send off.
I feel like I was o e of the few who was like “Ben Affleck is the new Batman? Hell yeah I’m down!” And have never regretted that mentality. Aside from Keaton, Affleck IS Batman
Batfleck is also my favourite looking Batman. I'll admit MK is still my overall favourite performance but Ben is a very close second and I wish he had done more. I've also cosplayed as the Knightmare Batman and actually, eventually want to update that costume or get a full BVS style suit. We'll see. I also worked on The Flash. Managed to see Ben from a distance due to COVID protocols. And being a fanboy got to see MKs Batcave set and the 89 Batmobile in person. I could've died happy that day!
The JL cowl wasn’t used as a sneaky detail. It was used because that shot was apart of the dozens of reshoots Suicide Squad went under! The original thing he says to dead shot is much darker and more intimidating!
The Flash Batfleck suit looks blue and grey with gold accents in the armour in the trailer and I dig it.. strange the toy is all black. I have to say the BvS suit is the chef's kiss
I actually think they should have left the cowl looking as it was in the Snyder Justice League nightmare reshoots as it would have added to the whole post apocalyptic and worn and beaten aesthetic of the rest of the outfit. It always seemd out that the rest of the suit was worn out and the cape being replaced with the trench coat, tactical pants instead of the bottom half of the suit but then the cowl still looking fresh and pristine.
I love your videos on this subject! Batfleck is not my favorite version of Batman but his suits have a lot of fascinating choices behind their designs!

In another timeline, The Batman with Affleck and Joe Manganiello is what we got. Not that I’m complaining about Pattinson’s version, it’s my favourite Batman movie period and one of my favourite comic book movies overall, but it would’ve been cool to see what Affleck’s completed vision was. As for the suits we got, I’d probably rank them as: -Justice League -BvS -Justice League tactical -The Flash (from what we’ve seen so far) -Knightmare -Armoured
If there's anything to nitpic about Affleck is that he has relatively short neck for that big melon of a head. The cowl neck would look even more majestic if it had some lenght to it.
Honestly the SFX guys didn't even need to clean up the cowl in post for ZSJL, I think it would've completely worked since logically Bruce wouldn't have the means to constantly maintain his gear in a post apocalyptic setting
Pretty please do some epic stuff with the spin master Batwing . It’s such a blank canvass . You’d kill it ! I’m going with the first Ben suit . I don’t think he’s the best Batman per se . But I do think he kicked the most ass hands down .
I love batfleck his always my favorite batman🦇 I know he has a lot going in his life but I don't believe his quitting because ever time he does he keeps coming back and we all get very confused?!! Maybe there is something wrong with ben.
IMO Afleck is a very good Batman. Shame he was badly written for some of it and its a shame we'll not get a solo Batfleck film in the JL universe and timeline. Favourite suit is the JL Tactical Suit 👍
I know it’ll never happen, but I’d still love to see a comic accurate Neal Adams 70s era costume on an actor in a future Batman project. That look is classic Batman for me. The armored versions are fine, but personally I wish they’d figure out a way to make the costumes closer to the original source material. Or have a Batman in his 1939 costume, stalking criminals using a gun. Yeah, Bats did kill back in the day.
Jeez, I really dislike all of the costuming from The Flash aside from The Flash himself. A lot of haggard, overdesigned trash I feel. Especially Batfleck, who looks like he is wearing a space suit.
