These guys are having true flashes of absolute brilliance. As long as Jokic, Gordon and Murray are together I'm convinced they can give a strong effort in the playoffs. Add pieces like Brown, Braun, MPJ, KCP and it's finals bound though baby lol. We might be watching the birth of something incredible.

Reminds me of the time when the Spurs won in 2014, and now finally with Wemby, we might see them making a comeback into the playoffs in the near future

He kept getting better every year of his career even before Denver so I don’t see him falling off being very likely he’s just entering his prime

Brown was 0/5 from the 3PT in G5 of Finals. But, he was the X factor and helped win several big games like G5 vs Suns (25 pts) & G4 vs Heat (21 pts)

He's already earning just under $7M per year and I feel that Nuggets should do everything in their power to resign him. Don't forget that Nuggets game style suits him; it has been the critical piece of the puzzle & playing with Jokic has both increased his confidence & his feeling of belonging. Chances are that he will not perform nearly as good on some other team, because their offense may be considerably different. Therefore, it would be the best outcome for both the Nuggets & BBrown to re-sign. Hopefully they realize that & work out something that suits both sides. He belongs on Nuggets

I'm not sure I'd start him, but wouldn't be surprised if he gets more minutes. Even with MPJ struggling he offers so much movement/spacing that stresses the defense in a way Bruce really can't.

MPJ is a nice kid but way overpaid for what he produces. Nuggets should try to move him for a more dynamic player. Plus he's had a history with a bad back .... although he stayed healthy this year.

One of my favorite players ever, definitely plan to do so!

I also think system/role has a lot to do with it, Brown would've never had this type of freedom in BK.

Hell no. In a interview with Dan Le Batard Bruce stated the Nets organization wanted him back and implied that the players didn’t. I wonder who? They play way too much iso on that team anyhow.

@@HoopVenue Bruce Brown also wasn't that comfortable with the role he was forced into in Brooklyn. While he was good, I heard that he asked the Nuggets about being clear with his role. He's way better in Malone's system with Jokic and I think he's a lot happier being able to play to all of his strengths. While that might not keep him in Denver, the playmaking difference definitely has elevated his game. There are so many times this playoffs where they trust him with the ball and as a playmaker, and the two man game he has with Jokic is leagues better than what he had in Brooklyn. The willingness to find the open man rather than relying on iso ball empowers role players and it's no open secret how much players like playing with Jokic.

Bam's showed me a lot more on offense, prefer him in the playoffs but JJJ had a better regular season.

I think Shai's a better scorer and defender, but Ja's playmaking just moves the needle for me, insane creator.

It's certainly not a strength, but enough to keep the defense honest!

@@HoopVenue he was a decent shooter against the Lakers. like you said, good enough to not be ignored as a threat. they don't respect these guys to land a 3, well we see what happens. AG too, leave him alone on the perimeter and see what happens

He can a little bit actually he’s not terrible at it. And he’s good at everything else oftentimes great on defense
