I actually like abstract art but these works aren't appealing to me at all. Idk it seems too messy, even though he probably planned it, and it has no decorative effect nor an actual meaning nor is it good in a sense of art as a craft. Well, art is subjective at the end

Mumble rap is because the rapper cant actually rap so they mumble so it seems like they can rap dekooning is the 2 pac or biggie of the art world without dekooning there would be no twombly and without twombly no basquiat

Mumble rap to me is much more melodic and abstract than previous eras, which makes sense for de Kooning. Maybe you meant that as an insult.. I’m not sure lol but I’d rather hear future than LL cool J

De Kooning is a con. There are literally a million other more worthy artists who lived, died, and did better work during De Kooning's lifetime. Paint is expensive. De Kooning wasted it.
