@@Maddin-84 Oh shut up seriously. If he feels better playing with a pad for whatever reason. Then it's his problem. Not yours. You're the exact kind of person that makes sim in general so toxic
Quite a lot of iconic racing games not included. Pitstop II. I didn't notice Geoff Crammond's games in there either. Quite a few non-F1 games included in the list also. Why would Al Unser Jnr make a F1 game ?

@@Erratantuubbi I find it appalling that those two games, staples of their time, were not included in this video. How?!
Corwin Tipper I thought the first was Super Speed Race V (Which was Monaco GP) and thought you were right. And then I felt that it was released in 1976. But no.
2000's "Grand Prix 3" was among the first F1 game I ever played. It was so astonishingly realistic coming from 2D top-down view racer... and the physics/car weight the feeling of having grip or the lack of it on the track was just unbelievably good (I believe the full title was "Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 3"). 11:00 tell me, doesn't this feel like a current game and not something 20 years old? It's that good.
So the past decade was like: 2009: F1 2009 2010: F1 2010 2011: F1 2011 2012: F1 2012 2013: F1 2013 2014: F1 2014 2015: F1 2015 2016: F1 2016 2017: F1 2017 2018: F1 2018 2018: F1 2019
Games ahead of their time: Pole Position Continental Circus F1 Exhaust Note Formula One 2001 F1 Championship 2006 F1 2010 (WOW) F1 2012-2017 2009 to 2010 was arguably the biggest leap in terms of graphics quality. Damn!
Was about to say the same. Microprose Grand Prix 1 2, 3 and 4 are probably the biggest landmarks in F1 games before f1 2010 and f1 2013 from Codemasters.
05 was the one for me, only born a few years before it was made but a lot of fun. it is amazing to see the improvement between that and the championship edition, and then to 2010 another game that im sure pretty much everyone liked
F1 2010 and F1 2013 legendary games. F1 2010 was a game breaker. I played it today on my 360 and im amazed how well it has held up. Amazing memories. F1 2013 has classic F1 cars. Amazing feature. I played it on my 360 and it was amazing.
*the most memorable games for me (and my friends) are: Continental Circus [taito], Pole Position [namco], F1 Exhaust Note [sega], Super Monaco GP [sega], Virtua Racing [sega] and F1 Grand Prix - PC [Microprose]...*
Played this (Accolade's Grand Prix Circuit) on a IBM PS/2 and you're right, lots of race games that era just used the PC speaker beeping in a rapid sequence to emulate engine sounds :) Test Drive III was very cool btw. - just set graphics to low and it got much easier since less obstacles in the way :)
Truly amazing to see the evolution. Haha im revisiting my old f1 2013 game on my xbox 360 during this quarantine period (i never got a new console since 2010 lol)
Fun fact - until 2014 no playstation F1 game had a British world champion that year. No F1 1996 when Damon hill won No F1 2009 when button won. Formula 1 on PS1 was released in 1996 but is based on the 1995 season
0:26 I want the Ambulance F1 team! Win guaranteed! And now more seriously. Aahh, 1982 "Pole Position"! Such fond memories!... The sounds of the 1984 "F1 RACE" remind me so much of the Colecovision. Yet more fond memories. 1988 *KISS* "Grand Prix simulator II". 1990 Spinning "Final Lap 2". 1991 Sick clutch "F1 Exhaust note". 1991 Driving backwards "F1 Grand Prix Satoru Nakajima". 1992 Where am I "F1 Grand Prix Part 2". 1992 Cartoon slow-mo "Grand Prix Unlimited". 1992 Dying engine "F1 Circus Special". 1992 Catch the pinkish F1 bubbles "Super F1 Hero". 1993 Ghostly "Super F1 Circus 2". 1993 Make the track broader "F1 Grand Prix Star II". 1993 McLaren-Renault "F1 Sensation". 1993 Maldonado Indestructible "Formula One". 1995 PS1 F1- the oldest F1 video-game I ever had at home. 1997 Maldonado Returns "Power F1". NO NINTENDO64 1997 F1 WGP and 1998 WGP II?? 2002 American Monster "F1 Arcade". 2003 PS2 pitstop-less "F1 2003". 2005 The hardest level is not so hard PS2 "F1 2005". 2006 PS2 "F1 2006" the last F1 video-game I ever played...
Non ho visto GP2 di Geoff Crammond. Chi parla di giochi di F1 senza citare GP2 è come un "intenditore" di vini che non ha mai assaggiato un vino Piemontese
Where is '91 Microprose Formula 1 Grand Prix for Amiga OS /ATARI ST / DOS? That 3D game with its great graphics / gameplay blew all the other scrolling F1 games away back then.
and I remember in my 23'aged about F1 Race 1984. I loved to play this one and having a fun when car explodes on poles ...that carts had a nitroglicerine instead gasoline on fuel ...so easily to exploding than strike a matchstick. Sometimes " even now I'm already an old lady", I like to play this one.
