The Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 finally dropped, so I made a gameplay video of all the main GTA games from the original Grand Theft Auto to GTA VI! #GTAVI #GTAVIgameplay #grandtheftauto
btw. I recorded GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas on a PS2 emulator to get the graphics closer to what they looked like back on PS2, which is when I first played those games. Ideally I would have captured directly from a PS2 of course, but I don't have a working one anymore. GTA IV and V were captured from the PC versions.
There's a problem with the game gamma, you have to lower it a bit, because the game was originally designed for the CRT rather than LCD monitors and looks too bright on LCD
I hope that the physics of ragdol and vehicles of GTA VI are more similar to what we had in GTA IV than GTA V. Ben made incredible content with the physics of GTA IV, I discovered the channel through the series of videos (Bloopers, Glitches & Silly Stuff), I spent hours laughing at its content.
@@oscr_zen Euphoria is also present in GTA V, but apparently R* greatly reduced the way the ragdoll responded to impacts and gravity, in a way making it more realistic, but realism is not always +fun
Ben I remember you from the old machinima days It's kinda crazy to thing that you returned at basically the same time the hype train for gta 6 officially starts 😂 Wellcome back and let us hope the time till 2025 will fly fast 🎉
GTA 3 was my first GTA when i was younger. Before that game I always dreamed a game where you were on-foot but also drive in vehicles. It wasnt that common at the time. When GTA 3 came out it blew me away because it was exactly the game I was dreaming of. Fast forward today GTA 6 might be the experience I truly have been waiting for and I got the same excitement as i did when I tried GTA 3 for the first time. The trailer showed off exactly what it needed to show and the wait paid off.
As someone who grew up in this game, and played every title of GTA, I can't be more eager and happy to finally be able to continue this adventure in GTA 6.
I appreciate that you used similar PS2 footage as the original hardware cuz that's how it was back in the days, it isn't fair to show current PC gameplay of the game
Exactly, I used a PS2 emulator to get as close as possible to the original look, because I first played those games on PS2 and that's how they looked like back in the day. Current PC gameplay of those games or even the remastered games is not accurate.
First GTA that I played was GTA II GTA III felt like a dream Then Vice City opened doors to what gaming should be GTA: SA is just epic on its own GTA IV the storyline 👌 GTA V 10 years of money grab to MAYBE make the best GTA (or even game?) ever made!
Some people defended the Defective trilogy character designs saying that those games had always been cartoony, you just have to watch a comparison like this to see that they had (since III) always aimed at a cinematic realism, in fact I don't think they have changed that style at all after so many years, it's just that new tech allows them to make more accurate representations.
Isn't it first time we'll be getting female as one of the main characters? I just hope she's not going to end up as prosthesised bisexual ladyboy (we already got the latin-african-something ethnicity hints, so that's a start already).
Very cool. I'm biased towards GTA2, so good to see some video of it included. I think I would've shown the GTA2 dusk lighting and one of the more unique weapons like the electrogun. I'd also include the GTA2 fart/burp but happy you included the GTA1 versions. I love your editing and fully respect your choices and style, obviously the 3D games are more popular and better for the video.
Thanks! I didn't want to make the video too long. GTA2 also has a special place in my heart since it was my first GTA game, but I had troubles with the controls on PC and I couldn't get my controller to work so I didn't spend too long with it.
