A Window To The Past literally breaks my soul. It fills me with such intense nostalgia and sadness, that it makes my chest hurt, and it makes me feel overwhelmed.
:( i wish i woudlve started reading and watching harry potter when i was a lot younger bc i literally just got into it like a week ago and this doesnt feel nostakgic at all
Because of your comment I had to look up the scene because I couldn't remember the movie anymore... And yes, it's so sad to see all the emotions in her😢
This make me think of that other later movies should have do the same with the first movie. Everyday is a fun day at school, new magic and exploring. But it just ended up became a horror movie
Eh, agree to disagree. I always loved the HP series for it's maturity. The kiddy stuff was nice at the start but overall, I thought the increase in darkness was the best thing about the series. Plus, I just overall LOVE action so
Flight of the Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore's Army, and Inferii Inferno (or what that track is called with Dumbly's firestorm). Adventurous, and badass.
Yeah, I really love it. If I had to define it in one word it’d be hope. Or courage and resilience, after all it was him that gave Harry the things that could aid him to defeat Tom.
I think windows to the past is more about finding hope and light in dark places, not depression or sadness. To quote Dumbledore “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” This song always plays during moments that are supposed to be uplifting or making use of a dark situation. Remus talking about Harry’s mother, Sirius’s escape on buckbeak. John Williams is truly a genius of his craft one of the best composers of all times, the bloody genius also did Jaws, Indiana Jones, Jurassic park, and Star Wars! My favorite Harry Potter musical piece is actually not done by him, I forget the composer of it but Lily’s theme from 7 pt 2, that’s a depressing one lol, but it’s beautiful, makes windows to the past look like an episode of Mickey Mouse in comparison lmao
to be fair: much like the change in directors: that was kind of the point. Not saying Williams can't do down and depressing, but his specially is either whimsy or hardcore intensity; not really needed in most cases with the later Potter films.
@@MikeMozzaro yes but in some case, it would have been better to reuse more of Williams old scores. That's why I love the Potter Scoring Project of Ravendor Studios
The tone of the movies got progressively darker meaning new authentic soundtracks had to be composed. John Williams is iconic but the songs coming out of the later movies, especially deathly hallows, are all amazing in that broader context, coming from equally talented composers.
The music of faweks the Phoenix 🐦🔥 the music of Harrys wonderous World and a window to the past Are heartbreaking and lovely Melodys ( a perfect Match for these Most beloved and entisapaited motion pictures in Cinema history ).
