He isn't proving anything by getting knighted if he does, Lewis Hamilton beat him to that by being a much better sportsman. He's an average prem player trying to make a name for himself with average skill levels for the prem, and since he can't get a knighthood on skill he's begging for one with charity, don't think he does that because he actually cares.
