Bro the funeral part made me just ball my eyes out. 7 months ago I lost my grandpa, and when she was explaining those milestones they won’t physically be there for that just hit a nerve. He had just seen my diploma the day before he passed. So I understand her pain.

She never has to worry about having “lost” her mom, the beautiful person she described. We’re never robbed of good people like that. We are loaned such good people so that they can serve us an example of how we can be also. Sometimes we only have a quick brush with that example, and that’s usually because their presence leaves that big of an impression. We are always given exactly what we need. We never lack those who pass. They live on through us in what we do.
