Weirdly enough that was my aunt's name (Kathy), and she was killed the same year as that commercial. Definitely feels like an adult name, but she was only 16 when she died.
I find it strange how the older commercials seem to market pop tarts to young children but as time went on it was more for teens and young adults...well except the last one it being a cartoon I guess you can say they were marketing them to little kids again. I enjoy watching old commercials and I noticed when compare commercials of the 50s/60s and the 90s...what was once for young kids in the 50s/60s was later gears towards teens and young adults.
The girl talking to the toaster (Suzy) is actress Rachel Jacobs who also played Arnold’s hospital roommate friend in Diffrent Strokes Season 2 episodes 1&2 This early 80’s pop tart commercial should be included as well (82-84) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uA3mEA5OdWY.html
These commercials price they made them smaller. I haven't had one in 20 years and just bought some on impulse. Now they are smaller than toaster struddles. Man companies are shady. These things used to be bigger than my hand now the fit in my palm
I love Pop Tarts from Kellogg's one of my favorite breakfast food ever to eat out most of them but the Pop Tarts of our generation and childhood growing in the 20th Century and 2nd millennium in many many decades since 1964 it's popping out the toaster every since and as much I love Pop Tarts growing up is the blueberry that's good got much froasting alongside Eggo Waffles I was born in 1991 as much I saw the Kellogg's Pop Tarts from my birth year 1991 it was much cool all of them had same logo brand from the 1970s 1980s and early 1990s I was born in the early 1990s as much old vintage logo became it has grown years ahead but in the 21st Century and 3rd millennium it has changed its brand and became Pop Tarts coming from my hometown Bladensburg in a small town in my state of birth Maryland growing myself Deonte Lamar Merritt always loved Pop Tarts just everybody else well us cause we were all born in years of decades all in same generation same 20th Century and same 2nd millennium it's good I love it all but old vintage ones is from our time which the Pop Tarts old brand logo back then.
