I don't get what happened to the voice direction on anything that isn't an in-battle quote. All the shouts, screams, banter, attack names are amazing in the middle of a fight. Then you get to the victory screen and you wonder if they lobotomized the actors to record those lines.
2:06 all my childhood I thought the 2 black dots under cooler's tail was his assholes. Does anyone know what those are? I fail to believe that just flys by our heads.
Now I know I'll receive hatred from the fires of hell for this, but I never understood why either game gets so much praise. I played both of them a lot and they just seem pretty mediocre overall. One's a bland minimum-effort MMO (kinda) with a few fun features, and the other, while visually stylish and unique, is just another standard 2D fighter. I wouldn't say either are incredibly superior to the other. I like that FighterZ has actual combos, but it's a stiff, slow, clunky 2D fighter. On the other hand, Xenoverse feels pretty good to move around in a 3D space since it's smooth and fast-paced, but complex combos are basically non-existent since one button will do an entire "combo" and visually, the game has no interesting animation or presentation.
I always found it awkward how quickly his newer voice lines are delivered. But he basically says, "I'll destroy this entire planet!! Diee!" though the last two words sounds like one lol
