This is most dangerous when paired with an actual Evri delivery. I was expecting a parcel delivered by Evri and then text message saying unsuccessful delivery arrived. First I was upset they did not even try to deliver the parcel as I was at my place, then I got even more upset they wanted me to pay with my card for redelivery and was about to look up their customer phone number. Only then I noticed the link did not look genuine. If you're not expecting a parcel it's easy to dismiss this, but when you're actually expecting a real delivery by Evri, it's much more dangerous. Needless to say my box arrived later the same day. Made me wonder if some shady rogue Evri employees could have been involved since it was a weird coincidence. This happened about 3 or 4 years ago though...
Wise words as always good sir! Had a fair few of these texts in my time and thankfully the worst ones are usually identified as spam by the messages app - always worth double checking though as it's easy to miss the signs first time round.
Al very well advising to check with Evri themselves, but have you ever tried to get hold of anyone at Evri who is prepared to take any responsibility for anything or do anything positive?
But genuine Evri themselves say that too, so what's the difference? Very often the courier claims you weren't in when they can't be bothered to find your house.
I got evri text few days ago saying that out box damage of lost to which I didn’t order anything and accidentally click on link to see what it was then I exited the tab and deleted message
I just got this I added my name, Address, postcode and email but realised it could be a scam and I found this video can they do anything with that information?
