Pennington makes me think of a kid who tries to play superhero. He’s a mystery fan who tries to emulate the detectives he reads about, with none of their ability to actually solve a case. Honestly, that Ghost Toad Jumpscare when you read the diary didn’t freak me out as much as the way the screen gets grainy and the color drains out.😅 The Doopliss twist definitely caught me off guard. Also, considering Doopliss stated that the people he copies eventually disappear, does that mean the real Zipp Toad disappeared? Great video Zorrin!

P.S. Four is the number associated with "death" in Japanese since the number four and 'death' have the same sound. Just in case people are curious why a (frankly still cute) ghost was in Cabin 4.

Sorry you have to sit through another "vainglorious person talking out of their butt" for this chapter, Zorrin. At least for me, Flavio is tolerable compared to this Captain Obvious style penguin "detective" Pennington. At least Flavio admits to being both a coward and a cad. Whee, Chapter 6 gives us a new kind of challenge to go through on our way to the Garnet Star. Yes, I have checked the minerals geology texts, specifically gemstones, and garnets can come in orange hues, in addition to the crimson/dark red ones usually seen. Doopliss may have been caught before he could carry out the threat made in the note. But the troubles on this train are not over yet. Mario and co have to get past Riverside Station, whose bridge is stuck in the "raised for boats to pass" position, and there may yet be some little fight encounters here and there. Just about due for a boots or hammer upgrade too; I won't say which to not spoil Zorrin, although it's likely he recorded this footage weeks ago.
