30yrs later after the War into the 70's is like 2024 and the War would have been in the 90's. It's not really that long ago for the survivors in the 70's. For sure it was like yesterday.

The photos of these "people" are frightening. They look like the monsters they were, especially Amon Goth. Ralph Feinnes was terrific as Goth in "Schindler's List" (1993), directed by Steven Spielberg.

It would have been better, if the Germans had sent these refugees to other countries. Let them house and feed them. It would have freed up resources and have more men to fight the war against Russia. Also, it wouldn't have giving them such a black eye on history.

I really appreciate your attempt but right off the gate you were wrong. You state that Rudolph Höss was executed for running the camps but what you don't seem to know and what many people in your comments section don't seem to catch is that this guy you claim and historians claim was Höss was most certainly not.. Rudolph Höss was involved in a last ditch effort peace campaign and contrary to popular beliefs he was instructed to take the flight by you know who himself. Well Höss was inadvertently caught upon landing in Scotland and immediately arrested and taken back to England. He was locked up for the remainder of the war. He was ultimately sent to Spandau prison where he remained until the early 1980s . That is the facts . I'm not sure who this man really is or what role he actually played in it if anything . But ☝🏻 was certainly NOT Rudolph Höss . Historians claimed these things early on before they realized that they were wrong so to compensate for this tremendous blunder or bold faced lie they began a major backtracking campaign where they began fabricating documents and evidence that you can still to this day find on Google but the fact remains that there was only ever one Rudolph Höss and he was the one who spent his life in Spandau prison. Back to the historical significance.. history remembers the Höss which was sentenced to prison as a totally and complete different man entirely than the one that was hanged but yet history ironically remembers them both for having been the commandant of Auschwitz etc. the evidence allied forces fabricated was birth records and employment paperwork etc for both Rudolph Höss AND the real Rudolph Höss and the moral of the story is that history is his... Story to tell. There was only ever one Rudolph Höss and the fact is that they had totally blundered the "investigation" and sentenced the right man to the gallows but he went to his death under the wrong name. That is true but yet to this day they deny it and Google only serves to further embolden people who only know what Google tells them. Great detail to everyone else you covered in this video though and I appreciate your work put into creating it my friend.

I really wanted to watch this but the narrator drives me bonkers. I can’t listen to him. Why he insists on over pronouncing every word at the end of each sentence is so annoying to me. He probably watched some video on how to capture the audiences attention for the entire video. If so, huge fail.
