You should get the 1997 DVD. It has the original red warner bros logo at the beginning and the original colour timing before they put blue all over it.

Best film ever for sure, I was only aware of this after the sale was announced and of course all copies were bought up by then by people with no interest in the film only to re-sell on ebay, so if you want to reship it back to the UK, you have a customer.

Hey Ken! Great unboxing! I got #1071 - this is my fave box-set in my collection! Just the weight of this thing!! The most definitive release I think we're ever gonna get. It's just a thing of beauty! I received mine on 23rd October here in the UK and couldn't stop stroking it cos it just felt so nice!! The stacked discs don't bother me...I'll never watch the Blu-Ray discs so I have them hidden on the bottom of the pile. I have only 2 bad points... firstly, I wish the discs had been made in black and purple instead of the horrible yellow and blue colours... also they could have added some stuff on the extras disc... there is an excellent retro documentary on RU-vid from 1973 which shows the cultural impact that this movie created back in the day, that would have been an awesome addition, plus many other rare behind the scenes footage. But, all in all, this is a fantastic set and I feel very lucky to be one of 2000 in the world to own it!

I went for the steelbook version as I had the book, the outer packaging is nice, but the steelbook outer box is also nice I’m in the UK so it was cheaper. Mark Kermode is a Uk film critic and has his own podcast as well as being an authority on The Exorcist.

I got #394/2000, i was going to leave the plastic and jcard on and just open the end, but after watching this i had to take it off :)

On every review of this set there has been marks left from the glue of the slip card, one reviewer actually damaged the front removing the glue. It makes me nervous about removing the J card on mine, so far I've only opened the side to slip the inside out. How was yours, it didn't look too bad?

I paused your video to look for it. There was none on Amazon. But I found them on eBay for up to $350. But one guy actually was selling it from Britain and with the Bible version and deliver it came up to $188. so that’s better than paying $400 with that other guy after tax and delivery. Actually would’ve been about $425. So I feel like I got a good deal. So thank you for letting me know the Bible version existed and it was a hot commodity.

I wanted the other set, but it was sold out, so I got this one. It's on the way to me now. A couple of days after is when the Best Buy steelbook was announced, so I got that one because I really liked the art. Now, I'm contemplating keeping this set sealed or even selling it. I'm not sure yet.

It looks great! I’m happy with my steelbook but if I was a big fan of the movie I think I would’ve bought it too. I always wanted to buy stuff off of Amazon in another country but I’m afraid I’ll screw it up.

How'd you get the stickies off of the leather?? The leather on mine was ripped because of the damn stickers holding down the o-card.

I received mine on Halloween lol of all days after unboxing (that damn glued card!) and watching the directors cut on 4k It kept jumping about a quarter way in! stacked discs! 🤦🏻 Noticed few scratches on the disc contacted Amazon they offered me full refund but as wanted to keep this edition I asked them for a 30% refund instead so I could replace the faulty disc from a standard copy 👍🏻

Stacked discs, forget it! Don't toss away your original discs. I think the money went on the outer packaging. The best DVD release of the original movie was the first, which was released in a paper cover with a side plastic clasp -double sided DVD with the most scariest special features. Does this DELUXE include the CD with an image of, I think, the scariest scene from the original movie (the demon Pazuzu appearing over Regan during possession -I think she prays)?

Whenever I get stacked discs I have them face eachother by the art side, not the data side. But if this is 5 discs, an odd number, can't do that for all of them. Extremely unfortunate.

Leap of Faith is a very good documentary. It dives deeper into things like the music that was chosen and topics like that. Had to buy my copy of the Deluxe Edition from eBay but I still paid a great price for it. Since I'm an Exorcist super collector, I bought all the 4k's and the Ultimate Collector's Edition, as well. You made the right choice!!

Mark Kermode is one of the few film critics that is held in high esteem. He really does know what he is talking about. His documentary on The Exorcist is excellent. He developed a very close relationship with William Friedkin over the years.

Stacked disks are horrible. I believe the special features and blurays disks are region locked for Europe. 4k's region free. Case looks great though.

For how expensive this set is, it's disappointing they cheap out with stacked disks for an otherwise very impressive release.

Awesome packaging, poor 4k transfer...

Warner UK is killing it while Warner US is giving us table scraps. They've become almost as bad as Disney. I wish the Best Buy steelbook had that iconic image on the cover.

I'll buy the ugly ass US slip edition for $9.99 on Black Friday and toss it on the shelf...sounds like the transfer is lacking as well.

There's something almost fetish-like about the way you physically handled (or fondled?) the fake leather surface of the box...the way you turned it over in your hands while "ooh-ing and ah-ing" over it. Kinda weird...but hey, for $95.00 I suppose you're entitled.
