What a great series so far. The 4th chapter came out a few days ago and I can’t wait to play it…hoping you drop the next one soon Hollow! I like to play side-by-side and make different choices so I can see another outcome :)
Mad respect for this man. Consistently uploading hour long videos every single day for our entertainment. One of the reason I'm enjoying this series so much is of Hollow's dedication.
yeah all the youtubers stopped after episode 3. All of them probably got payed off to stop uploading so that people go buy the game and finish it themselves.
What are the requirements for keeping her alive? EDIT: I just replayed the last section again and fought them instead. Maya remained on the ship after that.
You really should watch the show... This episode is dealing with the proto-molecule, early days research. Phoebe Station was destroyed by the MCRN trying to contain it... The Donnager was tasked with it before her destruction at the hands of ships under the control of Jules Pierre...
Funny timing on these updates, I've been watching the series with Poru99. No shade to Rey (Hollow), I'm guessing this series just wasn't getting the viewership he needs to justify the work, which I totally understand.
Hey hollow love watching your videos man! Also my daughter wants to know when your gonna do more horror games we love watching you play them we’ve been watching all your old ones! Good stuff!
Man, you have to at least watch the entire first season of the expanse. this game is pretty much a prequel of the serie. Now made think if Drummer is the real protagonist in the series.
Hey cuz, the volume control is perfecto thanks a bunch. Alive, dead people? We call them zombies. Ya poor Arthur 😭. WTF, what a turn of events. ........ until the next "let's do this "
It's so dumb to me that Reyen doesn't trust you enough after saving his leg. You also have to break their brotherly squabble in the intro for him to trust you enough to save Maya's life without fighting them here. So yeah I had to fight them here in order for Maya to survive.
hmm I didnt get Maya soaced with me, she stayed on the ship and I thought THAT was a bad ending of the episode.. Clearly I was wrong.. This s*ucks actually if there is an option for her to die that means she isnt of a important character for future... Hate that they did it with her character
Everyone who plays sprints. I take my time with games and do complete runs. I sprint 99% of the time. Most players used to jump too cause the sprint was too slow back in the day. Jumping sped it up. We still have the habit when possible. Also, unless I'm imagining being in the place of the character, I probably will be sprinting. As I said 99% of the time
@@urmother-ym1cy Seems like you’re the one with the problem. I subscribe to & watch Hollow so, it’s obvious I like his videos. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be watching let alone comment. His sprinting, however, is why he backtracks or misses things so often. If he’d at least slow it to a jog, he wouldn’t backtrack to make sure he didn’t miss anything so much.
@@cougfan45 okay and what . Mate ur the one who says it drives u nuts . He plays however he wants if it drives u nuts find a new youtuber to watch without picking something out .....
@@cougfan45 nah I play even faster than he does and don’t miss much. But yet when I’ve doddled around I have missed stuff. It’s different all the time and different per game.
Me and my fiancee just finished watching Wolf Among Us. This game is well designed but lacks pretty much everything compared to it. Old Dev team will help with WaU 2 and I really hope they won't mess it it like they did here. Just can't watch it sadly, can't feel the climate and this stupid language calls, sorry. But appreciate your work Hollow, we both do.
I think they had a really good thing going for this game. It's clear it needed more time in the oven as far as content. 1 hour episodes is a ripoff for what it costs. Besides them being short, they are still good. Just not worth the price. Like the part with Maya dying, It could have been soooo much more impactful but there is barely any character development for you to get attached to any of the characters. It all seems so rushed. There are parts in the cathedral that looked like it originally had more content/puzzles to do but we never go back to it (even you made comments during the gameplay where you thought you would have to go back to establish power or something) but, we never do, we just past right on through with only a few things to interact with. I really think they ended development prematurely for whatever reason and just tied up a few loose ends and released it way earlier than originally planned. It's really unfortunate.
I don't know this for sure, but reading between the lines from some of the pre-release promo videos they did, I think that they were determined with this game to have way more branching paths than in previous Telltale games, which have tended to be a lot more linear (from what I've heard; I haven't played very many of them myself). They kept making remarks about how every character but one in the game can die and every character but one could live, and they spoke a lot about the complexity of writing and recording all the variations that resulted from that. This situation with Maya is the first place where that dynamic has revealed itself, and it appears that there are a few different ways that she can live, based on combinations of choices made earlier (and not all of them telegraphed as "major" choices, either). So I guess what I'm saying is that I appreciate the volume of material they must have had to produce for this game, even though on any given play through, people won't see much of it. I think what that translates into is relatively short episodes, but episodes that have a lot of variations. So, given any set of choices, the episodes will be somewhat short, but the variations make for very high replayability, and the replayed episodes will have enough unique content to make up for the fact that you don't see it all at once. That's my theory, anyway. I could be wrong, but I'm holding off on passing judgment on bang for the buck until I've played all the way through and, maybe, tried a few replays with different decisions. I think there actually might be a lot of content in each of these episodes -- particularly the later ones -- that we haven't seen yet. Here's hoping.
Didn't bro have the option to kill him off when the leg was stuck in the door at that point I knew he was a liability and saving him would come back to bite them In the ass great series tho
@danbadd yea I guess that is true but the trajectory of what would come down the line changed because the whole point of that moment being on edge was the fact that they sacrificed the supplies to save his leg which changed everything but you could still be right so good point regardless 🤷🏾
I feel like Maya dying has to do with not fighting Rayen (obviously) and the fact that Hollow chose romance with her. She seems to die on this chapter for the majority (probably if you both started romance and didn't fight Rayen). O well.
Maya can still die even if you fight if you fail one of the 2 last QTES during the fight maya will die anyway and if you dont cut off rayens leg get arlen his medicine dont punch arlen and break up the twins bullying you can trust rayen and have maya survive and just so you know romancing has got nothing to do with if maya survives or not
@@mannuperez3926 well you wanna know something telltale games literally release their episode trailers after the episode releases they dont make sense either
You basically just have to do everything good for rayen. Break the fight, save his leg, give medisine, talk to maya about sleeping together and trust him for him to stop arlen from putting her in the airlock.

From what I've seen you have to be nice to the brother that gets his legs stuck and do whatever you can to be on his good side then go with trusting him. Maya survives that way. Or you can fight him and that results in maya surviving too.
