"A Martian marine with the deputy secretary of Earth on Julie Mao's ship with the UN trying to kill them", that is a pretty bizarre mix that you probably don't hear of everyday. It'd be like a North Korean soldier with the US Vice President in an Iranian fighter jet with US forces attacking them.

Holden is acting like a leader here. Keeps emotional distance, focused on the goal

I love how Holden is so TIRED of all the bullshit - as a character he was very meh/pawn for a while. I like him angry, makes him more interesting.

"You think that's funny." "Maybe... not now." If you listen carefully you can hear Amos pucker up there.

Amos keeping pace with her keeping in wrench distance, checking his footing etc. Great acting.

Why is there so few people talking about this series? It is so damn good I can barely endure the wait for each episode... =(

The show is an hour, but feels like it’s over in 15 minutes. Best thing on TV.

I'm worried that the battle scene amongst the Roci, the MCRN and the UNN ships where Bobbie maining the tactical role/station is being cut.

OMG I have waited for 2 Seasons to see BOBBY on the ROSCI OMG!!! Ok I think Amos was ready to bash her brains in with a wrench!!! I think she was willing to throwdown as well !!! Bobby is a badass!!!! I think the whole crew is on edge and I loved when she threatened Alex !!!! She is a marine surrounded by people and ready to fight if she has to!!! They are both on the same side !!! BOBBY needs to trust them. Seriously watch it again!!! AMOS was in beast mode!!!!

In respnse to some replies: Amos is not a psycopath. He has a clear disorder related to an abusive childhood. AMOS actually has very heightened protective instincts. His philosophy is truely Neitchean. He is a true protector... especially of children. Look at how he treated that guy last season with a can of beans!!!!???? He knows he has issues and latches onto someone he thinks is truely good and that helps him navigate the world. Holden even is getting him because he knows when it goes down AMOS will step up. Also how many times does AMOS risk his life for and do epic hero moves for the crew? No psycho would do that. For instance he warns the prostitute about the man having a knife. I think AMOS was truely hurt as a child and this has created someone who appears calm on the surface showing no weakness but actually if you attack his family or a kid he would go into beast mode and rip your head off like a gurilla.... In the Novella the Churn we learn so much more about AMOS. Also notice how AMOS can talk tough about only being in it for your self. That is his philosophy but when you look at his actions he is an actually a hero. When Bobby comes in trying to establish her place in the heirarchy he is willing to step up. Also he is no fool holding the wrench. If he had any chance against a Marine he needs a weapon!!! Now one of the replies has been about strength and raw pound for pound stopping power..... AMOS has denser bones and amatuer experience and strength.... oh and a wrench... BOBBY has grueling Martian Marine training. Here in Australia I saw a bare knuckle fight between a kickboxer and US marine .... Most of us put money and confidence on the Muay Tai Kickboxer. The Marine took a bit of punishment from the start and covered up and then did a upper cut and then was behind the fighter and choked him out and it was over.... I think if AMOS did not take BOBBY from the start it would go badly for him. BOBBY in the show has barely shown her skills yet. She is actually brutal and a killer. AMOS has killed but BOBBY is a proffesional soldier. What do you think? Do you think AMOS would have one shot at the start and then BOBBY would take him appart? Kind Regards Dave

I didn't really like holden as a protagonist in season 1. Felt like he brought nothing to the table, why the hell are people following him and not Naomi. I think his character has developed well in the future seasons though.

Bobby character should be male. There is nothing feminine about her. Nothing in the story would change of Bobby was a man. Well except the realism Factor would increase. It's ridiculous watching her threatened Amos. She's tiny with no body weight. Amos could throw her across the room with a shovel of his hand. Feminism is cancer. A woman as a physically strong Marine, f*** off. Hell the writer's even know it. That is why they have to write her action scenes in a mech suit. Feminism is cancer. Worst written character but all fixable by writing and casting Bobby as a man.

What a wonderful clip of space people talking and talking and yapping and chatting and showing attitudes at each other. b-b- boring. could be any crime, police or firehall drama.. except.... oh wow... its in SPACE. Yawn.. but you know me I am not one to complain.
