Facco, together with University of Padova, developed a PhD research project building a cage free farming system to study the welfare and production of different genotypes of laying hens kept under different Cage Free systems.
We interviewed Professor Angela Trocino, chief of this project, and her students who told us how it all started and the experience working with Facco’s Cage Free and Smart Farm systems.
The developments and results of the research will be presented next week during a conference at University of Padova.
