As someone who likes dancing but hates drinking this looks great. Phia your coverage was perfect. I can't wait until VR can accommodate live performances with traditional instruments because I absolutely want to go to a VR jazz club.
I have been in the clubbing scene since October when the Thrill X Phia event happened and I've loved every minute of it. I've gone as far as becoming a dancer for multiple clubs as well as a DJ(technically) for one of them. Its just such a fun place to get together with friends and strangers alike and just forget the troubles of the world outside of reality. I might dance a bit too hard though, I'm borderline just being an acrobatic maniac LMAO
There are events like this :p there is An emo night atleast once a month, and i think other weeks it's more metal... Only went once tho as theres too many parties and usually it's on my off day
Phia, so many people put on the TUBE event but I must thank you personally for it was this video that put me and my wife onto the event. 55 years old but we have never been living in a town with a dance club and never felt comfortable going to unknown clubs in cites we visit. You and the team changed this...thank you we had a great time dancing with others.
which worlds would you recommend that are populated daily so you can hop in any night? I want to get into this space but being from Europe and having no idea about which worlds I should head into I mostly ended up in pretty lame and empty worlds so far so helping out a future VR clubber would be much appreciated
This is such an amazing video that captures truly the work these groups have put in over the past 2+ years! Thanks for using my track Reminiscent, means a lot!
I used to help organize EDM events and AV at my local anime convention from 2013-2015. This video made me finally pull the trigger on getting an HMD. I have so much anxiety, excitement, and adrenaline about this Im about to cry. I miss having the time to participate in these events.
Wtf is this amazing full budget style news broadcast. This channel is awesome in the level of work put into it and really marks the first stones set for the future of the meta verse
I made a video about the underground music scene in VRChat a while back, but I definitely feel like your video has more of that professional touch and documentary feeling! My favorite part was when you actually went out and interviewed a lot of different clubs from different region. Just really goes to show that VR is a lot more connected than we thought. Thoroughly enjoyed the video!
This was so damn cool. Have went to all sorts UG parties and events for 10 years, but never in VR. Gots to try this out and maybe even come and play in one some day. Such a cool scene and infinite possibilities here. 10/10, let's f'n go VrChat community! :)
Wow, I recently got into vr and clubbing. It's really cool to see both mesh! Thank you for bringing this to light. Love these new formats. Keep it up!!!
It's really cool to see the evolution of VR clubs, it's the ultimate underground venue. When we did clubs in Second Life with streamer DJs, VR clubs like these were what we dreamed of being possible one day. I can't wait to get my VR rig working again since the GPU drought situation is starting to improve.
OMG, this was the most immersive vr video ive ever seen, it was so well put together and life like. There were scenes were it looked like it was filmed in the real world. makes me excited for the future of vr, thank you PHIA!
So these arr the vibes my DJ friends are feeling in VR chat. Havent hopped onto a party in a while after work resumed onsite. But yeah I could see myself chilling in the background with this music.
Slushii is one of my favorite artists and the one who originally got me into this type of music after discovering his remix of alone, it would be super cool to see him play and even meet him in vrchat, and it’s also just cool to see all the potential this has, especially for people who are anti social irl but extremely social In vr
PHIA Your channel is Inspirational. In VRchat I'm a Full body Improv comedian that uses my Unity worlds & custom 3700 audio file soundboard to dance, tell story's, and just cheer up the community by making them laugh with the culture you and I love. Your videos & personality are out of this world. I hope to catch you sometime to return the favor! Good luck on all you do!
been a fan of 2 tone disco for a while! this video makes me so happy! such a great video idea to highlight the scene on the come up... thank you for this!
As someone who turned 21 in the middle of the pandemic and is now 22, virtual clubs have been a savior for me seeing as I never got the irl experience when I was finally able to. Not only that but I can also drink and dance in the safety of my own home!
Well, this has convinced me to go all out and finally get VR, new PC, full body tracking, maybe a valve index too. I'm so excited to finally hug my friends!
@@LuminousIris I don't think I'll have the money for that many trackers, but, I'm definitely interested in as good as possible, though I think I should maybe hold back, to save money and to make sure VR doesn't make me feel dizzy, hehe
I wish I could go to the event, but it would be at 5:45 pm for me and I would be at work when it starts. I definitely need to get into clubbing though because all of those songs were from my favorite music genre and I just need to meet more people who like it and to improve my social skills
There's a bunch of retro game bars in Japan that I used to go to pretty often pre CVD, It would be pretty cool if someone made some in VR. Basically you chill at tables around the bar with video game themed drinks and a tv with large collections of retro games people can play.
I can tell content like this is something you really like to create! I'm not really the club type but I might check it out just to meet you and Thrill. Keep up the work, I can tell you're getting better at it!
I went to Loner a few days ago and back to backed Ghost Club and Shelter last night and I have to say, it's so much more than I expected it to be. After a few drinks and *others* you really forget you're not in a actual underground scene. Well, a scene where the rave theme is hot anime girls and 7 foot tall furries lol
I’ve been watching a handful of your videos and this one really makes me want to upgrade my 2070 to a 4090 and buy 2 psvr 2 headsets when they come out. I watched a person run 2077 in vr with a 4090 and it looks amazing!
you need to meet a chap called xCirrex. He made Fate of the Irrbloss on VRC. He has made a bespoke world for his music with a fully synced light show. Not to put shade on these guys at all, but this guy in terms of a "performance space", this guy has made the 1st VR gig. A proper gig. One that truly uses the VR space. Tell him EnglishDave sent ya.
Great to see this coverage here. Thank you, Phia! For anyone that wants to check out the EBM / darkwave / industrial / darksynth / aggrotech scene, we host an evening on Wednesdays at 8pm PT in a unique space in VRChat and via Twitch. Check out more on www.twitch.tv/creepy_culture and please add "Creepy Culture" as a friend in VRChat.
When I'm older, probably new headsets would have come out so I would probably get one of them. My oculus is glitch and heavy so was not my first choice but it is okay. I probably won't get a full body suit and I don't want one but would love those small ones that you just clip on and works. I know alot about VRchat including the darkside of it but if you like to socialise, I reccommend VRchat!
@@MidnightAhri Yeeees! Certain DJs doing random sets gathers tons of attention. Dvize is one for sure that garners a lot of attention, and DeFreeze too. Rizumu is a blast, but I definitely wish their sets were longer instead of one hour.
Oh wow wait I didn’t know there was UK events hosted in clubs but I guess there is a lot we don’t know damn your making us see so many new things I know I’m late to this video but I’m so glad I watched it and I might consider the discord not sure yet since my headset is well basically dead
I can't describe enough how awesome my journey to DJ has been in VR. VRChat is where it's at for the most detailed events and hoping for other products like ChillVR to mature and create awesome clubs to meet interesting people and enjoy awesome sets. See you out there!
its great that Australia is one of the leaders in the VR club scene. Loner are trail blazers that are way ahead of the curve on a scene that many may take for granted in decade.
I cannot wait to get my first VR kit and enjoy some rave parties. I’ve only went to one irl and it’s so bad if you have social anxiety. It also would be also to have your own gig. I do music and tbh irl there aren’t that many opportunities.
I just started watching you! I love watching your videos... I just started wanting to become a Vtuber so I've been watching all your tutorial videos as well as your series' and other videos. I think you are amazing and so cool! I can't wait to become a Vtuber thanks to your help!\
Id do this if you could get to meet the people irl at some point. What if you find a girl you really like but have to leave it as an online party relationship
Dang I wished I had friends lmao, I lowkey stopped playing vrc bc for that reason. I have a really hard time having a conversation with someone so I stopped playing it. This makes me wanna go back to vrc
