It's a real shame this attraction never got the success it should have earned. If the attraction was ANYWHERE besides Disney World it probably would have survived a lot longer. There was a certain charm about it and even though I never got to witness it based on the way the attraction worked with the seats being able to vibrate, shoot water, and the way the speakers worked on the chairs themselves I can tell that it's one of those attractions that you HAD to be there to truly enjoy and experience that sadly no one will ever get a chance to again. This attraction deserved more then what it got you could tell there was a lot of care put into it
after all the things I've heard about this attraction, I really wish I had gotten a chance to give it a go. It sounds absolutely terrifying but legitimately fantastic
I actually never got to see this attraction because I was born in 1996, but I’ve been watching old pov videos of it and it definitely seems like something that I would enjoy! If I could go back in time and get to go on Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter then I would!
Luckey if you don’t mind I’d like to ask some questions if you don’t mind do you know what happened to the audio animatronic how did the cast member effect work where they get slaughtered
@@yourmother897 So we call that the catwalk position. There is a door with a monitor so we can see the audience and we have a flashlight in hand. We move it to sync the audio scene so when you look up its actually a cast member up there. The room is upstairs in the cast member break room lol. There is even a mattress up there.
This ride was legendary to Me as a kid. Nothing beats the part when it jumped on your shoulders while breathing down your neck and licking You with whatever the heck that thing was.
I'll never forget when my dad and I first went inside the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter to see what it was like and it really scarred the hell out of me and I didn't want to go back inside ever again. My dad got a kick out of though. He thought it was hilarious, God, rest his soul. When I had first found out through Wikipedia that it was closed down on October 12th of 2003 to be replaced by Stitch's Great Escape, I was somewhat relived about it. But as I listen to the audio of ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, it makes me wish that the people who runs the Walt Disney World Resort nowadays had still kept it around instead of having it closed down. If it were still operating to this day, I wouldn't be scared of it anymore and if I had talked my mom into going inside, it probably would've also scared her too and I would be coming out laughing myself silly. Plus, the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter would be the perfect attraction for the Halloween festivities at Walt Disney World every year, next to The Haunted Mansion ride. I also wish that the people who worked on the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter had included more pre-show footage and audio of Spinlock and Dr. Femus finding Chairman Clench on the planet that he was accidentally sent to and bringing him back alive before it ended.
@@kedanmacken2421 Well that much I got having experienced Stitch and loved it. Why is it any more special with two ears when both shoulder pads press on you anyway?
I feel so bad for Skippy 🥺 he was a cute little guy, RIP lil buddy 🤍...I wasn't born to experience it but dang Tim Curry's voice acting is remarkable (plays an @sshole well too)
I recall this at Disneyland when it took over "Mission to Mars". It was interesting but I never thought it was a good fit. Tomorrow Land is supposed to be an optimistic futuristic fantasy.
Thank you so much I used to work this attraction from 2000-2003. It was my first liason during my cp so I have so many fond memories my favorite part was working second pre-show and kinda being up in the rafters. People never knew that was a real person so seeing peoples reactions was great. Would you happen to also have the audio for timekeeper..... an epic tour de force for Robin Williams
Hi! Thanks for watching! Yes, I do have three different videos of the audio for Timekeeper. If you go to my 'Magic Kingdom Audios' playlist, you'll find audio for the queue, the pre-show, and the show itself.
Distory With Andrew I wonder why most other recordings have the dialogue just later than this. Like the tube breaking doesn’t cut off spinlock in almost every other recording I’ve heard
