The scavs never attempted to summon the reikgon, the cultists themselves hidden in the castle and behind a wall are the ones trying to do this. And they are hostile to both raiders and scavs

For the last strandeds game mode, it's a alternate version of decaying winter where the scavs took over the bunker when you tried to evacuate via the lore ending, and instead, the ship crashed, leaving you and the pilot desperately trying to survive.

Big thing you missed. Eden-227 wasn't always a wasteland planet full of scavs. It used to have actual civilization on it. If you read the deactivated armor, it details that there was some sort of battle to defend the Neo-Thermal Generators which failed, and led to the fall of Eden-227

It's been a year but if you didn't know already, Sledge Queen isn't an Agent. She got the Knuckleboom augmentation and the Agent container from killing an Arbiter in self-defense (I think their name was Oliver) and the Agent container was the reason why the turret didn't fire on her.

one thing that not many people notice is that there are actually six mattresses. indicating we had a lost agent on our team who died sometime before night 1. either that. or the other waves had more

the special insults from the hangers like traitor or ursurper is because you betrayed their own kind and use it against them or ursurper because you took powers from someone else and used it for that

A sad/dark side of roblox is games like decaying winter, entry point and many other games even phantom forces where they have complex backstorys and isnt just a game other games such as arsenal and other types of roblox games you join and start playing the same thing over again its like a story but games like phantom forces entry point decaying winter they are the exact same but they have a backstory that probably took hundreds of hours to come up with the ideas and make then reality games like that are like a puzzle once its all unfolded its clear its pure

When you use the executioner goggles, you can see that the scav's are actually criminals.

there is also a bit of lore about "The Collapse" on the description of the deactivated armour (in order the helmet first , the armour seccond and the leggings last)

Theories are really good Btw the Scavs were always on 227. They’re residents who either went to the planet or stayed during “The Collapse”. Also side note, Red(dev) did say she doesn’t have much knowledge of map making, hence the identical maps

the final thing you talked about does have some holes to it, like the fact that scavs actively try to attack the reikgon, or the fact that they appear overnight (though the fact they dissapear overnight can be easily concluded that its because of the storm.) you could make the argument that the storm is linked to the parasites, but are microscopic (like protozoa, who multiply rapidly after infecting a victim) but that wouldnt explain how they dissapear overnight, really the only viable theory i have is that it does not get enough suffering out of the scavs to sustain itself, so it dies. apostle is only part reikgon , so you could make the argument that since the infection on apostle is smaller, he can sustain it for several nights without dying.

I just wanted to add this, Decaying Winter is partially based on a game called Tom Clancy's The division. As for the music, the agents (which are called The Division and must leave all privileges behind when called for a mission) and the fact of agents that rebelled against the agency as Agent 0 and Yosef.

i think the theory was alot better on this one than the last one, but I do have a few things to say, mainly about the rekigon. (dont quote me on any of this) in SoF, i believe that there was a gamemode where contestants had to survive until extraction could arrive while servants of rekigon hunted them, with every dead player being revived as a servant. if the servants won, it said something like "you have collected enough souls to please rekigon" or something along those lines. I think this implies more the virus (if even a virus, which i will argue about a bit later) is instead a transformation of sorts, which transforms the afflicted into a servant controlled by rekigon. this would also make more sense for the apostle, since you cant really commit heresy against a virus. and also when shadows die, the more humanoid form they leave behind is because the curse has left their body or something. it also makes more sense that a soul is transformed into a servant, with reviving your teammates as shadow hunters if they had a death animation were their body was mutilated (exploded, arm cut off, etc) the damage is healed. also unrelated note, but the ghost shadow is definitley NOT a servant of rekigon. in SoF, the exact same enemy appears, and it is said that its a breached experiment.

I do have a theory on the hanger Rekigon or what ever it is. The thing I noticed is when they spawn, they only spawn twords the montain, what else is close to the mountain? A grave… (you can kinda just see where it goes from there.)

a bit of theory on the last strandeds: it was said by red that "the last strandeds takes place in an alternate canon where the events of the base game took a turn for the worse." (in her own words) "taken a turn for the worse" COULD include that maybe the cultists DID control the reikgon (reikgon are hostile to cultists naturally in base game): considering there's a reikgon boss wave, where all of the types attack at once you also came crashing down from a helicopter, not a ship could mean that you aren't an AGENT, nor a scav, and probably got your own AGENT device from LOST AGENTS considering they also don't spawn could also mean that you also are already from this new planet (because helicopters don't do well in space) and also a bit of extra reikgon stuff that further proves the zombie reikgon thing: the LOST AGENT in the mountain displays a woman surrounded by people with guns, and then a loud gunshot being heard that woman has the same hair as the hanger, and the hanger too spawns in the mountain it confused me a bit because "why would they be related to suicide?" but it was because if you see that same person, they're actually holding a shotgun to their head (hard to see because orange transparent neon) she was probably already infected, and eventually shot herself. probably pressured by the people around her to not infect the others, or maybe the people around were trying to stop her? idk she could've killed herself because she already knew she was infected, and got no medical treatment and finished the job before the virus did

ive noticed that on the reikgon/shadows boss wave, Reikgon is referred to as a "he" when it says "Reikgon and his shadows" note: systemic infections are a real thing, for example theres Sepsis, which is what agents are given within the survival gamemode of Tom Clancy's The Division, so this systemic infection is not some magical thing red made up -scavs are just criminals who didnt evacuate eden, they werent sent -shadows (or demons) manifest when there is a shadow (i know, vague but its what i was told and shadows arent parasitic)

the last stranded is like when you lose, the scavs take the base camp and you are a backup team unit trying to complete something

The Reikgon may originated from Eden-227, and have spread to various locations. This is seen through the Karambit Blade melee in Anomlous activities who's description states "ripped from the hands of a operator on a winter night." ( or something like that). Further emphasized in Paragon (makes the Ticks) also make a potent handcannon, the Aegis 50. And the Tear gas equipment which refers to nano grenades. An equipment used in the game.

it is possible to assume that Reikgon existed in SOF too because of the special hidden game mode and infection game mode. What is actually kinda cool is that Ulayclon were experimenting with the virus on New Earth behind the scenes of the gameshow. We can figure this out because the description of The Hidden game mode is a entry log of some scientist explaining how an "Experiment" broke containment. Not sure how that can connect to DW but I thought it was kind of cool.

I Really enjoy the setting and feel of decaying winter, The atmosphere, lore, and overall feel of the game is right up my ally. Sucks i can't play it because of the ping issue, Such sad. But i suppose watching this game from the distance is better than nothing.

NoL, To clarify the ERU (Eden Restoration Unit) It must have been used twice. The first was when UMG didn't please Ulaclyon and they wanted to make a new competitive match. A death squad was sent. (its one of the gamemodes of UMG) The agents of the death squad had names like "Agent Delta" E.T.C But iirc i think i saw one named Agent Zero, so Sledge queen could have been apart of the death squad. Anyway when the death squad had left UMG, workers for the ERU built a lab there for Ulaclyon. Thats the first time its been used. The second time was when scavs were sent to Eden-227 and they rebelled against ulaclyon, and the cultists arrived. And you were sent as one of the tiers of agents to Eden-227. (Hope im correct or shit. Mabye the E.R.U is only for Eden-227 so, i might be wrong asf.)

Last stranded is an "Alternate universe" of the sort, like, shit went from zero to sickler real quick, and now there *Stranded* with no path of escaping, there's also the fact that the Sledge queen isn't in the castle, I have a theory to this, after crashing into the battlefield (that being tower), the agents and the rest of the squad was ambushed by Sledge queen and her allies, the reason is unknown, but it could be a shortage of supplies and desperation, or maybe they thought it's another group of agents (Think of it as the 5th wave of agents), and didn't want to prolong their suffering and just kill them, or just because she had a bad day and wanted to start blowing up bodies for some reason.

for the last stranded well, i have my own thoughts of it. basically it goes by us the players failing and the agency decide to get another group of agents but the thing is, the agents couldn't go to the base bc the scavs have taken over that position. so the agents have no choice but to stay at the heli pad. not much though, but this could probably be a hint

Listening to this as a former Roblox player who left the platform years ago, this is like playing Final Fantasy 11 whilst only having played FF2

the apostle was once a cultist they were the most respected cultist in the cult once they learned the true nature of the cultist they revolted and turned to the agency with new knowledge of "reikgon" (also known as the sicklers the hangers the skinners and the hidden) forming the "reikgon" the R.E.A.P.E.R (since the apostle's units have scythes or you can call it hunters whatever) using this new found knowledge the agency hired them and two more the others are called drifter and the trapper (idk i mean i never unlocked it anyways)

My Headcannon about why the SOF Map and DW map are the same was that Uycalon (I probably said that wrong) was going to turn Eden 227 into a place like SOF a competition between convicts but they were able to rebel becoming the scavs.

I think that the parasites of Reikgon are part of some sort of hivemind, with Hangers as some sort of leaders, or at least a cut above Skinners and Sicklers. I think that their heirarchy is Shadow Hunters, Apostles, Shadow Sicklers, Skinners, Hangers, and then Reikgon himself. Now, why do I think that Reikgon is a single entity? Because in one of the loading screen comments, it says "Pledging to Reikgon..." Not "Pledging to the Reikgon..." I think that Reikgon is some sort of godly figure, and I think that he's a god of death, since the Shadow Hunters and Skinners have their powers linked to death. I think that Apostles are followers of Reikgon that still have some sort of sentience, and can direct and summon Shadow Hunters. However, this isn't the only type that has sentience. Hangers also have sentience, since it can know who it is targeting with its psychic powers. As we all probably know, Hangers have different insults towards Apostles. I think that Skinners are above Sicklers, because I think that Sicklers are Skinners that rebelled against Reikgon, who punished them by chaining them up and forbidding them from regaining their disguise. Sicklers are sobbing because they know they can never escape their chains...but they, in fact, can, if they're angry enough. I think that they get angry when a human or Skinner gets near them, because they are envious of the humans not having chains. Skinners are also hostile to Sicklers, since they are still faithful to Reikgon. Skinners and Sicklers act quite similarly, because they're the same thing.

Reikgon isn't the name of the parasite, reikgon is actually a self presumed god, hence why the hanger calls the apostle a heretic, since the apostle basically betrayed the shadows.

I'm really new to Decaying Winter and its connected universe, But I'm loving the Post-Apocalyptic/Sci-Fi Aesthetic. I need to play it more to figure out what exactly is going on..(and just learn how to play since it seems really fun)

now that i think about it, most reikgon, except for sickler can easily be neutralized by apostle, skinners go after the demon you summon (most of the time) and you can stab it, hanger cant make you kill yourself and instead slow you down, and im not sure what it does with hiddens since i havent found one yet

3:08 to what I can find in the wiki and in the Trello page, I don’t believe that SQ has any affiliations with the Agency apart from being on their want/hit list. She used to be (according to some sources official or not) one of Eden’s veterans (presumably she was a firefighter). Also the Raiders have no affiliation with the Scavs as they will attack them if they are to get too close to the castle, and are mostly neutral with all factions on Eden (apart from probably Reikon)

I like how this game is based off of The Division but is very different lore and gameplay wise. Because they use the Echos which are basically the same here and the Agent being ISAC from The Division. I love this game due to that.

Random theory that could quite possibly be true: Agent 'Jericho' is the person in the description of 'Malice' and 'War-torn shirt (or something else, I forgot what goes in the 'shirt' part)', since he has those items

i'm pretty sure the sovereign is at least a little bit related to this, the character in lobby has the same ritual circle that the cultists use in game, and also summons ghost minions on kill

I think the reason why the maps are the same is 'cause Crossroads is a classic among combat Roblox games. Each well-known game about PvP must have atleast an optional crossroads map (Weaponry, Mortem Metallum, Combat Warriors, "hi guys :D", etc.). But yeah, if you'd want to make people know that DW takes place on another planet, atleast consider changing the map to Glass Houses or any other classic Roblox PvP map. Another theory to why Hanger calls you a traitor when you have Apostle, she : 1) Calls you so for denying your fate to fully become a Reikgon 2) Mistakes you as a Skinner due to your Theourgia's Hand

i always thought the infection was that "parasite" u talked about becausew hen you die with a high infection those tentacle like things are inside of you. What i think happened is that scavs kidnapped people and forced them to succumb to infection thus the sickler is bound and such, the hanger being hanged etc idk about the hidden dude tho

the secret bunker is maybe related to the one in untitled melee game i mean it look a bit similar (i'm talking about the old one not the remake umg:r). and for the last stranded gamemode i don't think its related to the lore because like they said its a arcade gamemode (bonus gamemode i guess)

best to check out what each hire has to say. the sniper talks about planets and morale. the robot talks about his past. dae talks about raiders.

The last stranded officially took place in a different universe if things went different if you are part of the Dw official discord server and read the update you will know it is completely different

you are probably correct for the scavs being sent here because they were criminals because when you put on the exe googles you can see what the scavs did like assault, purse snatcher, 3rd degree murder ect. which is also why i think the executioner was sent as a bounty hunter since all the scavs did somthing bad

I just wanted to say that the Hangar kinda looks like Valori if you compare the hair...which leads me to this theory....when Valori was killed by the Scavs the cultists brought back her body and revived her as the Hanger while for her realtions with Apostle it is because that once Valori became mutated she lost complete memory and she though that she was basically born being a rekigon and when the Apostle betrayed the Rekigon she called him a traitor and Heretic. (Which also leads up to my theory that the shadows were maybe past Agents which) also its most likely the Apostle was probably a scav that was then kidnapped to be a subject of the cultists which he was forced to be a rekigon but managed to control the Brainwash and took advantage of his powers to defect to the agency.

"umg, sof and decaying winter are the same universe, just diffrent planet" basically eden 227's star is destroyed meaning that they are on another galaxy. My theory: the agency probably has access to the deathsquad ships in new earth from sof (probably i forgot), or have some supernatural spaceship that could have the potential of traveling 10,000 light years away from new earth. also another Theory: Probably The Reikgon are actually not a cult but an being that the High Priest of S.I.N trying to find, So they do a ritual to The Reikgon and sacrafice their people to Reikgon Also maybe highpriest is a very faithful person to Reikgon and exchange to have a Skinner - Wendigo like Body.

as someone with who pieced the puzzle thinking it was it it was shattered but one thing was right is that yosef was a fellow agent that betrayed the agency

the best way to explore the bunker is most likely when you already defeated the boss and activated the evacuation this way you can live forever and explore everything while not being manhunted by raiders

My theory for the lost strandeds game is is that the lost strandeds were defended by lost agents left behind on oden and rebel scavs that left behind the scavengers, the first lost agent was the guitar girl.

well i think you missed stuff about the echo playbacks: 1. some of the fates of (presumably past agents) are shown such as: one killed in outpost (after yosef betrayed the agency due to the guard being there) two probably got killed in the crash site (probably before or during yosef's betrayal since yosef looks chill) pretty sure people from yosef's set of agents tried killing him at castle or he gets betrayed (during yosef's betrayal due to the guard being there, also i think they get hanged by yosef later) yosef literally hanged someone (after yosef betrayed the agency) 2. hanger is probably the agent killed in mountain (same hair, spawns only in mountain) also i think she betrayed the agency too, but was later executed 3. i'm pretty sure there was another set of agents before or after yosef's set of agents (probably right before you due to the amount of agents shown in echo playbacks) or there were just more agents in the last set idk also i think that the hanger, sickler, and hidden were past agents in yosef's set of agents (this would make a set of 5 agents) and the skinner is an experiment from the cultists. this would also explain why the hanger, sickler and hidden are hostile towards everything, also explaining why the skinner is also hostile to everything, because the things it is based off of are hostile to everything. idk tbh cause i just found this video randomly and it brought back thoughts about what those playbacks couldve meant

One thing you forgot to mention is Anomalous Activities, and the corpseflower, and the fact it's so much like Skinners.

Hey Nol, wasn’t the sledge queen a normal scavenger that killed a arbiter stole his equipments like the agent watch and the decimator and then killed another agent for the knuckle boom hence giving more power to the arbiter itself. The agent watch just makes sure the turrets don’t shoot her hence why she can enter the bunker and slaughter everyone. I think she collects trophies from dead agents mostly likely the ones to make her even stronger

The scavs have absolutely no relation to the reikgon besides getting killed by them. As there is a group of enemies that will attack scavs and are also friendly with the reikgon. it also seems that it is more then a parasite as apostles ability is called “seal of reikala” so this person may be some kind of reikgon deity there is also theourigas hand which I am unsure about.

something that does make the apostle more of a zombie/infected is that apostle gets infection faster

i have theory and the theory is that the new game is actually before decaying winter when yosef(boss wave 10 in the new game i think) arrived for the boss wave he only got badly injured and healed then we actually survived and clear the safe zone where the scavs were so we claim the safe zone and the scavs moved to the castle but they actually built secret bases once we cleared out the space we added turrets so we can be safe but the winter messes with the turrets and that's the scavs attack at the night where our turrets are down and the scavs are there outside when the winter is there because they were gathering loot u didnt get or are looting

The infection might start in the mouth since Amoxcillin in the game is actually a counterpart to a real life medication under the same name, and its used to stop tooth infections.

Got another theory about Apostle. Truly there used to be 13 apostles (bible) but one of them Judas is the one that committed suicide leaving them to be 12. I got the feeling that this apostle actually is Judas since he's represented (more or less) as a demon. Kinda sounds goofy but it's my theory.

The scavs was in eden 227 for a game transmited to everyone called survive of the fittest

yall know the helicopter on tower and the helipad? the helicopter crashed while trying to get there while the people that now live in the castle thats what they shot down. And in the new gamemode (Last Strandeds) the helicopter is coming thats why your defending the leader in the middle of the helipad and once you win you'll most likely get saved by a helicopter or the helicopter crashed again into another scav base.

The hanger could be one of the agents that yosef hanged in that echo playback, that’s why they spawn at mountain

The Reikgon might be from Ulcayon because, in UMG (untitled Melee Game) the labs had these files in one of the rooms. These files might be related to those Reikgon cuz they were in a experiment and might turn the tides of the war with the RIS. SOF also uses hidden as a event, Maybe its a experiment who knows. (If you read this, NoL thanks for your care for the lore fans cuz everyone likes lore although this is a theory sadly).

my theory about hanger it says you got absorbed and choose rejection you reject of becoming one of the shadow monsters and hanger knew about it and called you a traitor

Theory of Reikgons - Hidden theory: Either an Agent that hated the team took their own life just to haunt the other agents. - Hanger theory: A girl that commited suicide and hanged herself and the parasite crawled into her dead body before decomposing. - Skinner theory: Parasite that crawled into a scavenger - Sickler theory: Once was human but since the scavengers tied him up, he was in the storm so long he mutated.

Why Last Strandeds are binding into the lore, What I think is that the scavs overpowered the 4th batch of players ( the players from decaying winter) killing all of the 4th batch of agents, the last strandeds are the 5th batch of agents to eden-227 but by then the scavs took over the base the 4th batch of agents' base and used it as their base so the agency placed a helipad as a temp base and a refill supplies or either a escape route for the 5th batch of agents, the tralier also says that when the 5th batch prob contacted the agency by going to the secret base and they got a green light to escape but it failed hence connecting to the tralier saying the ship crashed, so they needed to go back to the secret base which also connects to how u get the true ending, and asks for another ship to escape and the ship comes and lands, picks them up, thus ending the game, After the failed attempt by the agency to hold down the scavs, they no longer send agents due to the dangerousness and leave the scavs to die.

Hello I have a question about the dead guy in the up of the mountain(You can only see with arbiter).He is also with the weird red things like apostal perk but he is dead.Could he be the apostals helper timmy,or he was a apostal like us one time(plus his clothes are really weird)

iirc the maps are the same because red didn't want to create proper maps/isn't good at making maps (or something like that), so she used a modified map of the crossroads

I'm assuming last stranded is the "Void" group that is mentioned in the description for the deactivated helmet, they ran to EDEN-227 to hide form ERU, and ERU will try to kill you, either that or you ARE ERU as the text for ERU attacking mentions "civil war"

Personally I just theorized that the reikgon were a mutated form of the virus, or maybe even just the resurrected bodies of those killed by the virus, seeing as so few people actually die from that and not other causes

Another thing of the story is TLS, before we got stranded in Eden-227, another group got stranded there. They probably died though. I can confirm that TLS is before and not after Decaying Winter because there is only 1 crashed helicopter, not 2. We probably came from the second crashed helicopter. Before us though, there was no illness that everyone had and somehow the illness managed to come out of nowhere/was created by someone which is what we see in one of the funny yellow display things of someone trying to protect a chamber which probably contained it. However, that chamber broke and everyone has cancer in the planet. The TLS was probably the 3rd form of agents to come here though. We do see another helicopter on the hill that is also in TLS. (btw TLS is the last strandeds) Another thing is that it probably isn't a parasitic zombie thing(though they might kinda be since skinners hide in the skin of people), as far as i know, they have been summoned by a cult. Apostle has gained the powers of a Sickler by some sort of way, though we do know that the cultists that hide in the mountain can summon them by some sort of ritual. My guess is that Sovereign tried to unlock the power of these cultists since he can summon funny hanger-looking shadow demons(?). We know that Apostle took one of the powers of a Sickler since, well, we do have to kill a Sickler but also when you meet hangers they say things like; FAKER, YOU ARE A HERETIC, YOU ARE A FAKER, DEATH TO YOU, etc. Maybe he is a Reigkon himself and betrayed the Reikgons?

Wait , wouldn’t the people inside of the laboratory be from the cult? There’s blood everywhere and it’s heavily guarded by the presumed cult and they may try to find and use a machine for the regikon.

I just basically believed DW was basically madness combat in a way but you’re an agent defending a base for some reason against enemy agents
