First time crewing the Fireball and Patrick's first time helming my boat, moderate breeze around 15 odd knots, great speed and exciting rides, a great experience, now I understand how hard crewing can be.
As a naive beginner, I bought an old 70's fireball hull to get into sailing. Needless to say it was a baptism by fire (pun intended), but truly it's a great class!
