Hey guys.
In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the F16 Viper doing a multi-role mission by using the JDAM and some Air to Air. Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.
My PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
GPU: Geforce RTX 2080ti
RAM: DDR4 Corsair 3200 MHz 32 GBB (total of 4 sticks so 128 GB in total)
Mother Board: ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero

I really appreciated the ‘house keeping’ in this one. ie how the primary target/s were found and marked, then, afterwards , getting back to base, the fuel management, straight in approach, acquiring the ILS etc. The real life flying stuff I can relate to. What I consider as ‘gaming stuff’ is hugely entertaining though pure escapism for me. Thank you very much.

@@awathompson Sometimes, all you have is one F-16. Not everyone gets to be the United States with hundreds of them. Not everywhere gets to have more than one available for a mission. Not every conflict plays out the way past conflicts have. Sometimes, all you have is one F-16.

That was a good one. It was a gutsy move to turn back on the guy that was chasing you. I bet they were winding down, dreaming of a hot brew and biscuits back at base when the missile hit.

And once again, the sneaky -infrared- er, not this time- mountain ghost that is Longshot wins ! Lol, Longshot ambushed them ,and when they started coming at him, took them to the mountains- where they don't know where he is, but he knows they're on his 6- and they were pretty much screwed. He didn't have a IRST(though he could use his FLIR pod that it appears he has here, in Air to air mode perhaps to not use radar to counter ambush them ) - but , element of surprise was always going to win, and mr flanker didn't want to play flanking games in the mountains where he didn't know what was going on Props to the Flanker for a full speed chase though- that was crazy to see. Props to Longshot- Excellent maneuvering, and a excellent strike and ambush.

The mission is not finished until you land. The guys I fly with will just fly the combat part of the mission and when they complete that part, they’ll tell me it’s over and success. Nope. Not until you’re wheels down on friendly soil and you made it to the parking ramp. Then it’s a successful mission. They will fly the whole combat on AB and not have enough fuel to make it home so it doesn’t count

That sidewinder kill at the end was beautiful, it's exactly how the F-16 was supposed to fight after doing air to mud missions. You can make gas if you follow what SR-71 drivers would do. The calculations change at different altitudes and as you found, that little jet can be very efficient at altitude. Nice job on this one, so cinematic and great tension when he was chasing you... such fun!

For such a return after completing the task to shoot down a fighter disabled from operational capabilities, the pilot would be at least banned from entering the cockpit until the committee investigates the legitimacy of such behavior and assesses the risk of losing the aircraft and the pilot without any sensible tactical and strategic reasons. And finally, at best, a scolding from the commanders. :D :D :D :D
