The Interlagos Circuit normally has 15 corners but in this race Jarno had to negotiate 17 corners due the addition of two mobile chicanes.

I get that it was to help Frederik gain positions but it was just too much. But I don't want to dwell on that because you deserved this championship 100% Congratulations!!

Mooi gedaan man, Congratz! Jeetje dit is wel echt serieus racen en alle tactische en strategische keuzes en zetten van jou en de tegenstanders dat elk klein dingetje grote impact kan hebben. En hoe erg gewaagd jullie allemaal aan elkaar zijn wat je dus goed ziet in Quali. Elke auto is in de basis natuurlijk hetzelfde maar toch Mercedes en Red Bull vechten om de knikkers. En je gaat er financieel niet op achteruit met €62.000 wellicht nog meer met sponsoren en andere zaken? Hoe close ben je nou echt betrokken bij de echte teams als zoals Mercedes. Je hebt natuurlijk voorheen echt geracet, heb je nog plannen om daar nog verder in te gaan in een bepaalde classes of hou je het op Simracen en kan je met nu al 2 titels niet gewoon bij Mercedes aan de bak bij het ondersteunen van simulator werk of andere functies? Vraagje zijn er naast deze F1 E-sports meerdere klassen in F1 E-sports want hier kunnen ook maar maximaal 20 man aan meedoen maar het is een game. Je kan in principe 10 F1 kampioenschappen parallel laten lopen en degene met de beste tijden en punten wint het niet alleen van deze E-sports competitie maar misschien van meerdere pararel lopende kampioenschappen? Er zijn natuurlijk over de hele wereld meer mensen die op dit niveau kunnen meedoen lijkt mij. Nogmaals gefeliciteerd en hoop een reactie te mogen ontvangen ik zou erg graag meer over willen weten wat voor kansen dit verder biedt in het echte racen of bij Mercedes of anderen want racen kan je alleen kan niet iedereen in de F1 komen. Daar heb je heel veel geluk voor nodig. En blijft mij toch verbazen dat in de echte F1 van de maar 20 stoeltjes toch meerdere coureurs meedoen die gewoon echt minder goed zijn waar ook als het niet allemaal om geld/sponsoren/je racegeschiedenis F4-3-2 etc gaat, er zeker een paar coureurs niet nu meededen als een Stroll/Latifi en bijna MazeSpin. Hopen voor Ricciardo dat hij zn zelfvertrouwen terug vindt want hij is snel en had echt niet weg bij Red Bull moeten gaan toen naar Renault. Ookal was Max de betere hij had een auto die kon winnen waar Renault in het middenveld zit en McLaren afgelopen jaren heel wisselvallig is geweest. Red Bull zou ook beter af zijn geweest door 2 verloren jaren met nieuwe coureurs die nog veel moesten leren en het hele team ook juist qua ontwikkeling op 1 man leunt terwijl Daniel daar gewoon snel was en Red Bull wederzijds ook op hem kon leunen qua kennis en dat dat miss enkele tienden extra zou hebben opgeleverd en hadden ze vorig jaar miss ook de constructeurs gewonnen. Maar op het verleden heb je geen invloed meer. Hoop dat McLaren een goede 4e kan worden miss Mercedes pakken als dat concept echt niet te verbeteren is zonder enorme wijzigingen waar McLaren in de basis een hele goede auto heeft. Zie ze graag terugkomen!

This drive reminds me why Brazil is one of my least favourite tracks that are not city circuits--the straights overtaking opportunity on equal power cars is probably worse than the Singapore GP, and the corners are too narrow and flowing so it's impossible to divebomb anywhere in S2.

you alone in final race against at list 4 or 5 other drivers who done everything to slow you down and not letting you won championship.(I knew it before even race ) but you fight great I remember when I watched it live I just thought why they let Marcel block you and JOB slow you down every lap and brake check you before last sector and when Marcel hit you from behind I'm in shock

Congrats jarno on the 2nd championship. But what I've seen in the comments section is something I don't like. Marcel defended harshly, but fairly, he didn't do anything that wasn't in the rules. Also if was clear he wasn't trying to take you out , he was trying a dive, but he didn't expect you to be a little bit on the right. So I don't understand why Marcel is getting blamed so much from doing something fair. Also he wasn't brake checking, he explains everything detail by detail in his video. He lifted and coasted

Surely the alternate strategy (according to this race) Soft->medium is clearly superior, given the fact that pitting on lap 8/9 to gain track position was what the front runners ended up doing. You say that's fair on them. Quite frankly no it isn't That brake check is incredibly disrespectful, as well as the other Red Bull lifting intentionally to stop you. And that can be argued to be decent because they are teammates, but the Alpha Tauri blocking you isn't because that isn't the same team. Red Bull called on both teams to try and stop you, that right there isn't fair. Despite that, that was one hell of a race and you did a good job to hold through and win the Championship.
