It literally happens all the time ... Designers give models shoes that are too big or too small for them but they still have to make it work. Unless you are a top model like Naomi Campbell, Natalia Vodianova, Kate Moss ... Then clothes will be altered to their body measurements. Otherwise, they won't care for newbies, the clothes just has to look good whether the model is comfortable or can walk properly.

It's the reality of the industry though. They have to model in what the designer gives them. Models have to wear shoes too big or too small for them all the time. That wasn't grace it was passive aggression. She believed Naomi was threatened by her team. The whole time Naomi has been saying the only threat was Cheyenne's team and she's right. Nicole messed up when she sent Shenika instead of Melise to elimination. Brittaney would have gone home that week and Melise would have learned a valuable lesson.

Nicole was not good enough as a mentor tbh. She doesnt know how to guide her girls like the other mentors. And based on the runaway if we lookin at both girls of course we’ll pick yaya.

Anoushka literally didn’t even try to NOT lift the dress where Ruth lifted the dress when she really needed to

while I think Naomi manipulated certain things to ensure her team had the best shot of winning, the emotions and fights were real. Nicole basically broke down to her father after Naomi's outburst and didn't understand where her rage and harshness came from throughout the series.

what's interesting is that the UK version of The face (full episodes here on youtube), that's EXACTLY how they played it, every client had to pick team 1, 2 or 3, they actually didn't know who's team was who's, and spoiler alert: naomi's team didn't do very well throughout the UK season. The face UK is by FAR my favourite instalment of the franchise

If you had noticed the fitting scene, you would see each girl had had 2 gown options, meaning Anouska could choose for herself. And even tho Yaya's performance was moderately terrible with her train getting caught in her heel, she kept her expression quite composed, while Anouska's walk was trembling and wobbling like a leaning tower the whole time and she kept looking down to the ground and didn't not show confidence at all. Sending Anouska home was the right decision

@@diamond852Naomi is not the only supermodel working now (Christy, Claudia, Shalom, Amber and more have walked runways recently, and almost every super has booked campaigns and covers in 2024 which matters more than runway because it pays better) and I think it is actually fair to say that Naomi gets booked because of her celebrity status, legacy and nostalgia more than her current modelling abilities or fit to fashion trends. I also do agree that it was rude of Nicole to say especially since her career was never that big or long lasting and she probably should have apologised. But in general, Naomi Campbell is not a god and can be criticised and at the end of the day she has never at a single point in time been THE biggest model and there is a reason she stooped to reality tv while her peers were able to keep their bag up without being splashed across the tabloids.

No she did not leave with class, she tried to accuse Naomi of bias, when not one client chose her team throughout the competition. There was no bias, her team simply wasn't strong. Leaving with class would have been accepting the outcome gracefully instead of trying to blame someone else. Naomi made the right decision, Yaya was way stronger competition than Anush, even though many of us liked Anush.
