Review of the walkers goggle 4 review. Goggle 4 fpv goggles designed with diversity and a nice bright screen but boy do they hurt your face, I think there are a lot of better options out there for the money and when getting into fpv drone racing the one of the most important things you can buy is a nice pair of goggles.

Walkera's price points are always so high... I doubt I'll ever even think of getting any of their equipment, especially with all the other options out there today. If they are gonna ask a fair bit of money then everything else on the goggle need to be spot on... Patch antenna facing up..... come on, I've only been flying fpv for about 8-9 months and even I know that is wrong. Thanks for the review! :-) -Jamie

You should get your hands on the Aomway Commander goggles and give those a shot. Built in diversity and a reasonable price point... almost no info on them though, so it's hard to say if they're a good buy or not.

After having used FatSharks for years - and testing the Goggle 2's, Xformer, HK DIY V2's - my favorite set are the black Skyzone SKY02S V+ goggles. Diversity, DVR, IPDs, swappable lenses, a cool rubber coating that doesn't scratch, they're awesome! Thanks for all the vids Stu, keep 'em coming

Lack of fan on any of these box jobs & their comfort has me wondering on which I should invest... Although none of them have a fan (if one did it would be an instant buy for me), I AM rather drawn towards the Quanum/FatShark Genisis.... I understand Grumpy Trev's reluctance when it comes to head-boxes, which is why I would value his insight.... Any chance of testing/comparing the Genisis please Mr Futures? Cheers in advance.... :)

I've been rocking skyzone v3 for 2 years now 2-3 times a week . I prefer them to fattys. I can conect 2-6 s lipos with one simple mod.

Eachine Vr-007 are really nice goggles for around 50$, auto search feature and a small OSD to change settings!

Almost bought these but ended up going with the Skyzone v2 3D (the white ones, not the black one). Doesn't come with a battery unforunately but other than that fantastic fat shark-like goggle with a bunch of features for a great price, even moreso if you can get them on sale like I did

Please review Skyzone sj-h01 and please test the response time (ghosting) by connecting to a PC via HDMI. This is important for FPV.

Hello, I wanted to ask a question on points. I had a problem in a week . I have decreased the radius of the appeared interference. especially interference goes. when the quadcopter control panel is on. is it just the marriage of my glasses, or is it everyone's problem ? it feels like the receiver is burning out.

i have these goggles and yes they are not great. advice on the comfort. the top strap in the middle needs to be as short as possible. this will raise the side straps and taking the pressure off your cheek bone. also, they do not have diversity and that is not a directional antenna. it is a bad left hand circular polarized antenna.

I wich you had put this video befor cause i already bought those :( but i do make little change like puting foam on the nose section. I probably gonna buy some fatshark or skyzone before summer so ill keep those for spectator. Anyway nice review and did you notice the screen is actualy on the top of the goggle and it is using mirror to turn the image in front of you thats why you try to cover the light that you was getting in, that light actualy come from around your eyebrow. Sry for the bad english im a french candian.

Couldn't agree more. You can put anything on your face for a couple of minutes. But for flight after flight after flight, they HAVE to feel good. Fat Shark HD3's FTW!

I've got some super cheap goggles Quanom Cyclops and although I have nothing to compare em too they are comfortable and work perfect for me

Ralph Kluge On a Rotor Riot video, they came across a guy who took an old pair of glasses and glued them to the inside of his fat sharks. Look up the video One Handed Pilot I believe it was called, hope this helped some :D

When will someone build some Skyzone or Fatshark budget goggles, surly these are selling enough to bring the manufacturing cost down to people that don't want to fork out £350+. I will stick with my Eachines with a DVR hot wired in, I might look like the 3rd member of Daft Punk but they work, affordable, no light leak and comfortable.....

These were my first set of goggles that came with a little walkera 150 rodeo for me to learn on. Have never tryed FPV before so when using these for the first time I was so dissapointed after watching video after video of other people flying around and having fun. Using these goggles almost made me wanna quit the hobby. So glad I didnt call it quits and purchased my fatshark Dom v3''s There was no comparison. The walkera goggles just Suck in my opinion. I wouldn't even offer these to anyone if i were trying to get them into the hobby.

Eric Jouett I guess the answer is definitely no. If you looking for a resonably priced but very good googles, buy the Quanum Cyclops V2's. I've got the V1's and they are very good but the V2's are packed with a lot more useful features and also a better picture quality.

It’s a shame that some of the manufacturers seem to stick their head in the sand when it comes to the design. So many people have different head/face shapes, if they could have different faceplates available. Grumpy Trev has been around and simply isn’t going to put up with any crap!

These were my first goggles. Three years ago. I have since moved on to building my own quads and using more reputable FPV brands such as Eachine and Fatshark. The receiver in this set is such garbage that you're bound to spend whatever you saved severalfold in broken quad parts due to intermittent blackouts. Planning on racing? These use a cheap version of antenna diversity -sort of- and is packed with LHCP antennas which are the opposite from what 99% of races use. On a budget? Look into the Eachine EV800D or the FS Transformers and enjoy your beginnings in an awesome hobby. I gave mine away to an ex girlfriend and feel worse about that than the breakup. Avoid!

bought a walkera scout x4 when i got into drones, will never buy another walkera product. So many features just do not work and spent a fortune on it. Bluetooth groundstation... awesome i can fly with my phone.. nope doesnt work. Crappy company for support and crappy products. Glad you maybe stopped someone wasting their money on these. :D

It looks like walkera is trying to make the worst products all the time. It's actually hard to believe how bad they are. Each time I come across one of their product it just sucks. It feels like they don't even try it. They just design it badly and then sell it. This kind of company should not exist. Not anymore. Especially when you see others that are busting their ass to design the best products. As you can tell I really don't like walkera ^^
