The facility is looking good. You might want to cover the windows at the end of the tunnels with chain-link, to prevent broken windows. Don't forget to hinge that chain-link over the windows, to provide emergency egress or access for cleaning & maintenance.
@@AntonelliBaseball Matt builds an entire indoor baseball facility in 2 months. Meanwhile it’s taken twice as long for my GC to finish renovating a half bathroom…
Hello Matt. I’ve been enjoying your RU-vid videos. Your facility looks fabulous. I just went to your website for the first time and read your Dad’s bio. I just missed him in college. I pitched for Bridgewater State for four years - 73 ,74, 75, and 76. I grew up in nearby Williamstown. Tell your Dad that I have fond memories pitching against North Adams State at Noel Field in North Adams and that I think Joe Zavattaro was one hell of a college baseball coach. I am also sure he knew Bill “Wigger” Caprari well.
Looks sweet! The only thing that's missing in my opinion is your name on the wall. Antonelli Baseball and the star. I think it would look great, gold (or white) lettering on the black walls. P.S. I bet you could need a vacation after all this work. :)
Great to see an astute businessman execute on his vision. Extreme effort plus $$$ = vision achieved! Fairly recent subscriber so wonder what you have been using for facilities up to this point. Wish you much success.
really cool how the walls are on tracks. and the higher ceilings in the cages are great. the facility i've been going to barely allows for a catcher to throw the ball back to a pitcher.
Facility looks awesome. Out of curiosity, where did you buy your turf and what type did you buy exactly? I'm looking to install turf in a home batting cage and trying to figure out the best option to use (looking for good quality+value, not just purely "economical"). Thanks.
Nice. Just make sure to open up some nets on a regular basis to give the catchers an opportunity to throw the ball more than 80 feet all winter,,, do miss that about the old facility…btw have you seen Holy Cross’ new athletic facilities?
@@AntonelliBaseball ps. Gavin (all 6’5 of him) will be playing in NEWMAC next spring, thanks for the work your program did with him as a practice player.
