One of the best mood-whiplash tools available online at the time. Few things could compare to the punchline of a dead baby joke being delivered via the gif of a guy punting.
Another RU-vidr named Sarah Z did a deep dive on Dashcon. Apparently behind the scenes was a massive train wreck. Lots of petty personal drama between the organizers.

I'm definitely enjoying Kelsey's Internet Historian reactions so far! I've yet to see her react to The Failure of Rainfurrest, no doubt that would be entertaining to watch.
I’d be very interested in seeing Kelsey react to some Strange Aeons or Sarah Z video content, especially knowing she was at least a former tumblr user, there’s some stuff on those channels I’m certain she’d get a kick out of
I remember while this was going down, another convention thought the meltdown was hilarious and actually got themselves an identical ball pit the very next day.
You need to do Call Me Kevin, he does similar videos to graystillplays and letsgameitout, but far better IMO. Plus, he’s the OG content creator of those types of videos.

That’s literally the point. If they knew about it it wouldn’t be entertaining. And Chicago is an urban center… I’m not a fan of urban living myself, but you should understand the value in seeing things from a different perspective, even if it’s as simple of a topic as this.
