Even after seeing the pain, suffering and hardship of this reality. We still chose to come and help earth. We took that fall into darkness and allowed the veil to befall our minds, forgetting the connection to source and all those who love us. All so we can remember who we are together, climbing from the darkness back into the light! What a beautiful time to be alive:)

I remember from childhood thinking that the world was operating in a way that was not "my way".....hence why many of us feel like we don't "fit in". This is what it is like when you are born awake and one of the hardest things for me personally has been to live with the knowledge and visuals of this constant abuse that this planet and all of its inhabitants are having to suffer....learning to live with it has been very tough for me and is not a quick process...it has taken me years to not let it affect me.....by understanding the dynamics of why we are here and how we choose what we do and where we go....not just for further evolvement, but also to atone for what we have done in other lifetimes.....but in the end, it all acts as a ongoing learning curve........nothing is forced on us even the most unthinkable crimes. From our origins of being love, we are made to forget in order to remember who and what we are...that is one part of the journey, and then one realises that we are here to help each other to help the whole. What a wonderful short film with such a profound message.

Charles, this is beyond words in so many ways, First as an Indigenous Person this film personifies the Prophecies we have been given, and that the 4 colors of Man will reach two paths and will need to choose one. So beautiful. It moved me close to tears. I've actually had a very similar vision. Whereby our tribe were lay down in the African savannahs holding hands in a circle. Dosing magic mushrooms 🍄 . And we saw the future, we saw everything. And we wept. Oh how we wept. But then we envisage a solution. And set to work in our hearts and minds. Skip forward 2 million years, and here we are. It took us a long god damn time to realize we were the ones who had jumped in to help out. Had no idea it would be twenty five years of utter confusion before remembering why I was here. Wish someone was there when I came out of the womb to say 'Ahh, good, you made it. The others are all safe. Now time to heal this place, huh?' Instead, all I can do is cry, scream, piss, shit and sleep. Then eighteen years of 'This is how to live like everyone else here who is so fucked up, so you become just like them.' Talk about a learning curve to get where we are, hey!

My soul vibrated when I watched this. It’s like deja vu. In the astral, mental, and spirit plane we exist as soul and spirit a fractal of the eternal/infinite primordial source. As below so above, we all had families and tribes on a spiritual level and knew the dangers of 3rd density to but we all chose to come here knowing our memories would be bleached. I’m glad my soul and spirit incarnated into the flesh. We may have fallen from the upper realms but once you get low the only way to go is up. Age of awakening where unity consciousness will always prevail.

This short film is so timely, because yesterday my partner and I were talking about whether we would make the choice to have children again if we were younger. We each have two adult kids from previous marriages, and are well past child-bearing age. My partner (who loves your work as much as I do) was more cynical, claiming that now is not the time to bring new life into the world. My own view is that new souls are needed now more than ever. Thanks so much for your beautiful work.

I never had children, never was able to conceive, and used to think of this as a good thing… that I was not adding to the worlds burden. I don’t have children but I am now passionate to provide a world in which my step- sons and nieces and nephews and grandniece’s and grandnephews can thrive. I now look on every birth as a blessing and my interaction with every child that I come in contact with as an almost sacred responsibility. My purpose is to bring balance and love and wisdom and guidance and I must be communicating these things with every interaction and be the example of this in my actions for them.

This reminded me of a dream I had. There were many people in a sacred tent trying to preserve the sacred ways. We were under attack, nobody could touch us as long as we stayed in the circle and held hands. We weren't supposed to let go. They sent snakes in, and one came by my ankle. I let go of the hand of the person on my right and tried to deter the snake and in doing so was bit. The group was then dismantled. Thank you for reminding us to stay true to the vision.

When I was in my early 20's I read a few books with very similar stories, all of which helped me understand why I would be alive during such difficult times, like the one we're in. In one of those stories, Creator is one whole thing that splits itself into many parts that become unconscious, in order to evolve itself (the big bang). In another story, we are all Souls who chose to reincarnate on Earth specifically at this time, also with the caveat of "forgetting" our Oneness while we're here. Those stories really grounded me at a time I needed them so much, as a young empath. Your ideas and words also help me stay afloat in this world. Thank you so much for this beautiful visual story, reminding me once again of why I chose this difficult journey. You are an angel, Charles Eisenstein ✨️

Somebody commented, "what about the Rising after the Fall"? I assume the baby's cry at the end represents a new life and a new beginning. So despite an otherwise pessimistic world view, there appears to be a "A New Hope" as a result of those who were willing to make the sacrifice together. Or is that interpretation too obvious?! It was very synchronistic to see this right after I watched Enchanted with my kids. It starts off as animation and the main character Giselle falls through a wishing well and ends up in the “real” world (as Amy Adams). She gradually adjusts to her new life and brings her magic into that world. It has a happy ending!

Thank you Charles. My wife and I have been long time followers of your work after hearing you speak at Floydfest Music Festival years ago. This film left me in tears, having touched a deep desire and frustration within me. The ending torn through me, as it was about the hope that I dare not feel. Thank you charles for the amazing content, also i wanted to thank you sooooo much for your appearance in dr greers documentary. I cried like i was 5yrs old again because at that age i was remembering something and that something was the destruction of this beautiful planet. I remember being 5yrs old and my mother asking why i was crying and the only thing i can come up with was all the bad things mom. But this was why i was crying i saw the earth and humanity go into chaos 😢 and now as a adult i see & feel it more that a vision i had at 5 is more real now than ever.
