On the 30th August 2023, Jodi Hildebrandt and Ruby Franke were arrested and each charged with 6 counts of aggravated child abuse. Ruby's fame as a RU-vidr, and Jodi's therapeutic practise, combined with their mutual membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has become the recipe for an international story. The stories of those who have interacted with Hildebrandt in particular, have been shared by @mormonstories and have become a lightning rod for media attention on this case. If what they are accused of is true, it is truly evil.
