As a Schalke fan for 11 years now, it's just painful to watch them lose every week in Bundesliga 2. Btw your video is very informative, you just got yourself a new subscriber 🤝
Actually Schalke never won the Bundesliga since the Bundesliga exists only since 1963. Just like Liverpool has only won one Premier League, but many more league titles (that weren't the Premier League yet) before that. Also it is quite possible for Schalke to go down even further than the 3.Liga at the end of the season in case of a relegation. Their bad financial situation could result in not getting a licence for the 3.Liga and they would have to start further down. Really good video overall!
Today, May 5th it looks like they're safe. Although they are only 5 points up from the qualifying 16th place. They (we - as I'm a fan) should be able to beat Osnabrück on Tuesday, getting us up to the 11th. position. Thx for your story.
I'm a BVB fan for 11 years now but from time to time I check out the 2.bundesliga standings to see where Schalke is at the moment cause I've always acknowledge the fact that they are one of the most important and historic clubs not only in Germany but in the whole world. Hope they found their form soon to be back where they belong, the Bundesliga.
Schalke has a lot of potential not just in German football but European football as well. As a fan l hope they try to keep more key players, make good investments and improve the financial status of the club
Broke my heart countless of times with the sales/release of key players, the absolute battering we get from opposition teams and the top management over policy/decision making. Regardless, I still love you.
You saw it coming. Even when they got to the CL tournament, you saw players who were just talents but never broke through. Their young team of Harit, Matondo, Mckenzie.
This along with your Ajax video can make a great series about struggling giant. Basel, Lyon and other fallen Bundesliga sides would make great content.
