Pokemon, I really really like these videos. I was born in 1990 and seeing Pokemon continue to bring the same joy to the youth of the world is a great feeling. These stories are so heartwarming.
89 baby here I remember in 4th grade in 98/99 it just came out of the blue along with the pokemon games getting your cards taken from a teacher or gameboy fun times
I was born 92. I was seven years old when I got introduced to Pokémon, but it wasn't through the games. It was actually through the anime that I got introduced to Pokémon. I remember when my classmates were playing either Pokémon Red and Blue, I was always watching them play. I used to have Pokémon cards as well. I got back into Pokémon during High School when Heart Gold and Soul Silver were released and I bought myself an DSi and Pokemon Soul Silver and since then I've been playing and collecting Pokémon. Pokémon, thank you for being a part of my childhood.
@Vakama95096 that's cool man I remember gen 3 and part of 2 got flack because supposedly the pokemon craze started to die down than it got popular again
THIS is the side of Pokemon TCG that needs more highlighting, in my opinion. Not the drama. Not the conflict. Children in this game have the right mindset. Us Master Division players need to recognize.
Reminds me of my son. The reading, the enthusiasm, the wanting to have friends that play. If it wasn't for me already knowing how to play idk how our son would've been. Glad to know that Pokemon is still going this strong. Thank you Pokemon!
I'm 31 years old and I'm pretty shy and have always had a hard time meeting people. I've always played the pokemon video games and I played other TCG games throughout my life so just over a year ago I started collecting pokemon cards and then soon after found a local group that plays every week. Now I'm out socializing every week and participating in tournaments and even winning some. Pokemon TCG helped me gain more confidence in myself and improve my social skills, life changing
The Mom's reaction to getting Marnie'd....lol! All of us have been there!!! I hope to see these kids at regionals some day! If they keep it up they'll be champs!
As someone with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) there are many methods that are explained in communicating which have been done so elegantly within this video. I could relate to Emery and his family in many ways and I am proud of the production that has been made here for many reasons. Wishing Emery the very best of luck on his journey, much love to the family for being so understanding, open minded and supportive GO TEAM EMERY
Hi! Fellow autistic person here. Pokémon was made by an autistic person, probably for autistic people. Engaging with people at the level they understand is such an important teaching tool.
This is so inspiring. Young kids learning the English language and maths skills from Pokémon and also real world concepts, strategies and a positive mindset is incredible. I wish I was taught high school concepts through the Pokémon world.
Omg his love and enthusiasm reminds me of me still to this day! And anytime I have the opportunity to talk anything Pokémon tcg I’m all in! I hope I have this opportunity when I have a kids😭❤
I love this kid. I look up to him and he gives me the courage to go to tournaments. If I was his neighbor than I would play with him 24/7. This is how every Pokémon fam should be. I love Pokémon TCG and thank you Pokémon for everything
this kid has a deep love for the game! His parents are lovely in the way they support him and help him grow. Huge respect to the parents. I hope he can get coaching to increase his skill because he has potential to be in the top percentile of tcg players. Loved this video, I hope he cam always enjoy pokemon and maybe one day I'll see him at an event!
I love these types of videos that show how pokemon impacts people in particular in a such a positive way that if you have issues such as reading, maths or in socialising apparently pokemon can help sort that 😂👍👏
As a grown man. I cried at how wholsome this is. Keep shooting for new heights Trainer and awesome job Mom and Dad for being such great supports for him on his journey to be the best!
Thank you so much for sharing this kind of video. Amazing family and amazing parents. I'm 37 and I've been a Pokémon fan my entire life, and seeing how it has such a positive impact on the next generation is absolutely wholesome and amazing to see. I absolutely love playing the TCG with my 7 year old son and it's my hope that my two youngest will join in whem they're a little older. 😁
Man I love this series. Please continue this docuseries. It's made me get back into playing the card game. From an original 90s player. Also this was me. Pokemon got me reading and taught me how to.
This is kinda like me, My dream is to become Pokémon world champion. So I am competing 3 times a week, plus lots of training at home. It’s pretty much all I do. Can’t wait for next Pokémon season to start! 😊
This stories are so heartwarming they make me want to pick up the TCG and play it. My favorite pokemon is Garchomp. Not sure of he has a current deck at the moment since I heard Pokemon rotates but will be on the lookout for it
The pokemon company and a kid showed me how to play the game i never actually knew how to play the game i just collected them years when i was a kid this a very whole some and very informative video.
I could never get into TCG as far as it as a game goes. As far as a card collection process, maybe I'll get back into it later on in life, but not fond of it presently. Cool to see a full family invested in it though.
I'm 35 and I still play and collect Pokémon cards. I tried to talk to Pokémon with my family, coworkers and what not...but they don't understand or don't care. My girlfriend and her daughter collect the cards too, but they're not interested in how the game is played.....Emry here is not the only who needs a Pokémon community lol
